Hey bro. Best of luck on your journey. Hope its all going well for you. We are pretty similar in that I was also implanted in London just a few weeks ago. I was implanted by Rowland Rees at The Seymour Clinic.

Just like yourself mine did not look great when I took the bandage off after 2 days. It looked a bit like a ET's finger; definitely shorter than my natural erection, mega stiff, felt kind of artificial like metal or plastic and the upper half was mega skinny. I came to realise that I was left almost entirely deflated.

I had the drain removed on day 3 and on day 8 had a follow up. Dr Rees inflated about 90% of the water in it but we had to stop before 100% because it got sore near the top where it's skinny so I've been left deflated since day 8 and I was told I could go home to Dublin on day 8. So now I'm on day 16 and the only external damage remaining seems to be a bit of scabbing clumped at the base of the penis where the incision was made and a tiny bit of light bruising where the pump is. I'd love to start cycling now but Dr Rees told me not to touch it until I see him again next Thursday. He said I will probably be good to start cycling Thursday. By that stage I will be 22 days deflated following surgery.

I'm down appx 2cm in length but I get about 0.8cm when the glans engorges so really the length of my shaft is down about 1cm. I'm desperately hoping that I get some or all of that back along with the girth that I've lost in the upper half.

I kind of got flustered poking at it and feeling around and poking the tubing a good bit. One thing I noticed is that the tubing was very palpable for me at 4 o clock and 8 clock. On day 8 when I came home I started measuring the underside of my penis with a plastic ruler and I pushed the ruler quite hard against the tubing to measure myself and I think I noticed the corner of the ruler which can feel a bit sharp was pushing against the tube. I'm just desperately hoping that I didn't damage the tubing by doing that.

I'm curious was it skinnier at the top prior to surgery? Or is this new?

I'm itching to start cycling to or at least see what it looks like fully inflated, the suspense is starting to get to me now hahaha!

I bet you will be ok with your ruler, if you didn't cut your skin you should of been able to cut anything underneath i wouldn't have thought?

Yeah flying afterwards was a nightmare. The whole last day in London was terrible I had to leave my Airbnb in Brixton wearing the scruffy shitty baggy tracksuit bottoms while carrying a duffel bag full of shit. Then make my way to the consultation rooms near Harley Street miles away lol. Then linger around the train station, train to airport, then float around the airport with the bag full of shit for a few hours. Then get into the middle seat of a cheap Ryainair flight and departure was delayed for an hour. It was proper salty lol.

I had to drive from Dublin to Belfast 2 days ago and it was really sore.

I've never been to Birmingham btw but I really want to visit some time. My friend told me there is a club there called Popworld and he has heard it could be a good place if you are single with a functional penis lol!

- It was definitely not so skinny at the top prior to surgery, not quite like it is now, also the left side of it feels skinnier than the right side in the upper half so it is just generally strange and not identical to the shape I had before surgery.

- I'm also totally eager to start cycling too. I'm on day 19 now. I visit Rees again in 3 days and really hoping he will clear me to cycle then. It is hard not to touch it for such a long time.

- I hope you're right about the ruler thing. Would be devastating if this thing wasn't working.

From reading your post and looking at your pics it seems me and you are in a very similar boat in terms of size and size loss etc although you had more girth than me.

Just like yourself I have also had sharp bits of the implant jutting out in different parts of the shaft. I think they might be early signs of the dog eat phenomenon. I have noticed my implant seems to have softened up a bit because when I hold it firm enough some of the sharp edgy bits on the shaft seem to remould into a more natural format, but like yourself it's all been a somewhat odd visual and physical experience for me.

It seems you were 5.75 inches before and now your 5 inches long. I'm somewhat similar, perhaps slightly longer pre and post op but not by much, and I too have lost an almost identical amount of length - about 0.75 inches! If my penis is bent a little it seems shorter but when I gently straighten it out as straight as it can go and then measure it, it's down almost exactly 0.75 inches. My glans engorges a bit in the morning and gets longer so it seems to me the shaft alone is exactly 0.5 inches shorter. I'm super excited to see if cycling will somehow regain that length but I can't see how it will because the cylinders are apparently a fixed length. Will be interesting to see how we both progress.

Did Ralph tell you when you can start cycling?

Did Ralph tell you that cycling might regain some of that length? I wonder what his response will be like if you tell him the shaft is shorter.
