I'm almost 50 y.o. and I put on a lot of weight recently. Intermittent fasting and exercise are not working anymore. I'll definitely give it a try but I'm scared of that needle. Oral semaglutide (Rybelsus) is insanely expensive. :(
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.

The Ozempic needle/shot into the abdomen fat is a complete nothingburger. Don't sweat it at all.

My wife has been on Ozempic for about 9 months to treat a combination of type 2 diabetes, sleep apnoea and weight issues.
She is also scared of needles or anything similar, but easily manages her weekly abdominal self injection. She has lost a fair amount of weight.
The only downside is that she can get some nausea during the first 24 hours or so after injecting, but that has eased a lot over time.
When she first started it caused vomiting but that hasn't happened for quite a while.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

Literally, don't feel a thing when that tiny needle goes in. I might do a test and have my wife inject me to see if I can even tell when it goes in - I expect not.

I tried compounded semaglutide for 3 months, didn't lose a single pound.

I'm waiting for my doctor to write a RX for Zepbound in the vials, which is $350/month to start and $500/month afterwards. The pens are $1200/month.
