Don't get caught up in thinking about the size, especially right now. You just had major surgery involving shoving a device inside you. You likely have a lot of swelling.

Time2Change is exactly right, don't even let size enter your mind until it is time to cycle, even then it should not upset you. The swelling distorts all the proportions you are used to seeing, just relax, do as little as possible and let your body heal.

When my swelling went down I was within a 1/4" of where I was pre-surgery.

UPDATE 36 hours post op

some bruising around base of penis and the tip not really a lot of pain in penis. The testicles are big and swollen a little and painful.

I am using an old school top loaded cloth type ice bag that you fill with cubes. It is good cause I can kind of wrap my balls in it and then lay it on top of the penis to help keep it pointed up.

Keeping it pointed up is a chore. Also I had a little left hook before the operation they asked me about it during initial exams and I said it never really bothered me that i had just gotten used to it. I want to say maybe 10 to 15 degrees to the left looking from my view straight down It still seems to be bending that way a little and also kind of rolling slightly over to the right so that the tip is pointed left and a little up. I dont think it is a problem. I keep straightening it when I notice it and point it straight up to 12 against my belly It is uncomfortable for me but I keep doing it. When I straighten it feels different than before pretty sure I can feel the tubes in there and since it isnt fully pumped they are adjusting to the change in where the fluid is inside of them.

I am waling around with what I would call a maybe 50 % pre op semi hard on it is strange feeling but really the penis doesnt hurt much the testicles are tender Long as I am sitting still not much pain at all so I am just trying to take it easy and keep it iced.

UPDATE Friday 10.28.22 4 days post op

not a lot of pain in penis it is black n blue bruised

balls swelling has decreased significantly dull pain most of the time sometimes a stinging from inside near the pump? but it is short and not too painful

main pain is trying to keep penis upright at 12 oclock and I feel a little pull on the incision in that position

I had pyrones small hook to the left before surgery Dr asked me about it I told him i had it a long time it didnt seem to be getting worse and didnt really bother me that I had adapted to it. I notice that it is still hooked to left now and that is one of the challenges I have in keeping it upright plus it feels really weird in that position. anyone have issues with this? does it indicate a problem?

I will try to attach pictures showing it. the one picture is in the mirror so shows it backwards

3 + years ago, mine too was very bruised. All good by 6 weeks. As soon as your doctor allows, you're going to Love your erections.

UPDATE 11.3.22 10 days after surgery

incision seems to be healed / healing well.

bruising on penis down a lot. bruising on the right side above penis but no pain in or is except a stretch type feeling when pointed upward. will be glad to get deflated and be able to quit trying to keep it at 12 o lock constantly. lot of irritation to skin etc around that.

apt Tues 11.8.22 at 10. hoping for deflation and instructions to begin cycling at that point

balls only feel like they weigh a ton combined now instead of 2 tons each. still very heavy and stinging pain from inside if that makes sense while walking around

walking a little crazy anyway feels like balls are so big and out front now instead of swinging in between it's definitely different


first week rough lots of pain discomfort awkwardness. but feels like it is getting better.

Looks way better than I did at ten days. Glad it's healing well with no problems.
Once you get using it, you'll know it was worth it.

UPDATE 14 days post surgery

penis bruising almost gone. some bruising above it is fading rapidly also. no pain in penis other than trying to keep it straight up and some chafing type soreness from it rubbing against bandage, underwear whatever. very uncomfortable keeping it straight up

balls are much better they only hurt really in a sitting position when they are cramped in. this is aggravated by trying to wear something tight enough to keep the penis straight up. some stinging in the balls more than anything. it feels like it is from the inside. pump seems pretty firm to the very bottom of my sack. my instructions were not to mess with anything at all until follow-up appointment so I'm trying not to feel around too much it feels a little to me like it is stuck to the bottom

I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow morning. I am hoping they deflate me at that point and begin cycling. I am also somewhat concerned about the hook to the left still. although from what I have seen and read from others it will probably straighten out when fully inflated. Dr told me I was currently about 60% inflated after surgery

so I am hoping tomorrow when they fully inflate me it will straighten it out and they don't find any other issues.
