My doctor wouldn't put the LGX in me since the cylinders were 18cm. I didn't agree, but he's the boss in there.

I had a great sex life until my prostate cancer abruptly ended that at 53 years old. I love sex, and it was and still is a big self identifier for me. After the surgery, I lost all ability to have an erection. Only thing that worked for me was Bimix injections. I am not sure that will work for you, because of the venous leakage??
Get suicide out of your mind, you have options...implant is not a bad one, yes, it should be last tried, but it is not a bad option. It is, not reversible, so that is why it is the last option-not that is bad. For me, it was my only option left, so I did it and am so far happy with it. I did lose some size, but my wife actually likes my size more now, she can take me longer sex sessions without pain or getting sore, and she can even give me a decent blowjob now. Before, I could barely fit in her mouth.
seek help, seek a good urologist, seek life. YOu never know, getting the implant may be the best thing ever to happen to you! You would be able to last and fuck for hours, at anytime you and your girl wish. That is awesome ...Peace out

Very kind reply.
Sorry to hear about your cancer, but at least you regained (partially?) your sexual life.
At 57 you are still young and you deserve to be able to satisfy both yourself and your life. Without doubt.
How many length and girth have you lost? When fully erect, I'm about 7 inches in length and 5.1 in girth. I would be certainly willing to lose about one inch in length and 1/2 in girth. Losing more would be hard to accept.
Another concern i have is the one orgasm-related.
I read many people here who seem to have lost the ability to orgasm with the implant or who started suffering from severe delayed ejaculation. This is my mean concern. I'm terrified about it.
What's your experience in comparison to what you were experiencing when your sexual life hadn't been already affected by the tragedy you told me about?

I did lose size, mostly girth, I was 6.5 inches thick, now if I am 5.5 inches thick. My length is near what I had, almost 7 when my glans is engorged, but my glans is what is making it seem shorter. When I start out, my glans is full, but it can easily lose its fullness when pressure is applied (when fucking) I am 5 months since implant, the head seems to be getting fuller more now, hopefully it will continue to respond. Along with the glans, the part of my penis that is less, is the underside, it is not as round as it was, more flat, the width is about the same but overall thickness is not. I have a Titan, 22 with 2 rte. basically a 24cm XL, my doc explained why he used a 22 instead of the 24 as: "with the 22, it comes from the manufacturer put together, so less connections to make. The 24 has to be connected -or has more connections to make on the sterile field, therefore it has more chances for failure." - With the implant I got, I am told, and I researched before hand, the Titan will give you more girth and length then the Boston Scientific. But the Boston one is less ridged at rest and if you have shrinkage in the penis due to scar tissue, ed or surgery, with cycling you can stretch the tissues more, therefore, may be able to gain a bit more size after the implant is in. From what you described, your girth is 5 or so inches, and length is 7. Think you will be happy with either, as the girth may give you a bit more then you have now. I'd advise you to use a vacuum device to stretch you penis as much as you can before your implant date. I started that after my prostate removal so that I wouldn't lose or spare any length loss. Not sure if it helped, but I am near what I was in length before the cx. Use the vacuum 2 times a day for about 20 min each - start now. Some on this forum say they use it after the implant - I haven't - worried I might damage my implant. Ask your doc.

As for the orgasms? Mine are not as intense as before my cancer, now I have dry orgasms, because the part that produces that on my prostate was removed also. But, they are still very much enjoyable. Oh, I do miss being able to cum all over my wife, and in her. She says that she likes this now, as there is no mess, cum is not leaking out of her etc. but she does mention that she misses the warm sensation of me shooting my load inside her. I have always been the type to want to please my girl more then I worry about my orgasm. It gives me a high to give my wife multiple orgasms and if I get off then all the better. Sometimes I do have to stop and take a break, for both of us. We love marathon sex, 1.5 to 3 hours, not continuous, but changing positions, places and quick shower etc. That kinda has evolved because of the injections - they would give me a 3-4 hour woody, so we would take full advantage of it, now with the implant we can do that or get a one & done in.
I know I gave you probably too much info here, more then you wished for, but think that is why we are all on here, to gather info and share our stories. Good luck, Peace out.

I think most doctors recommend Titan and AMS CX, over LGX. Could be (in addition to rigidity and girth) due to LGX being newer than the other 2 models, and no substantial proof that it expands more than the others.

Unfortunately it's difficult even with pills, I think I will also get the implant. My fear size with the implant, I want to maximize my size, I heard about AMS LGX it prevent from size loss but is it possible to regain the maximum of the size with the implant ? This question is for members who are implanted
You are not supposed to lose size with any implant model. If the doctor size you correctly, you get what came with to OR. LGX is appropriate for 18cm (with or without RTE) because it expands, as per Boston Scientific. For 21cm and more, usually (but not a rule) doctor fit CX or Titan.

The size loss mentioned is due to several years of ED. Almost everyone who had prostate surgery, and waited a couple of years before implant, lost an inch or more in size. Some regain part of that, but it is difficult to get all back even with aggressive cycling.
Ok I can achieve an erection but it’s not strong erection, it’s a floppy erection and I’m not able to keep it long time. There is a risk for me to loose size in this situation ? Even if it’s not a good erection I can have one. What I am supposed to do now, try to get erection every and use VED and cialis before to get the implan ( if I get it ) ? Can you advice me please

It is a good idea to use VED or traction with or without a small daily dose of cialis till you get an implant. This will increase your length or at least prevent from size loss.

Hello brother ... here a man just like you .. only younger, well really our situation is shit but you should focus on looking for a really good andrologist who if he has confidence and experience in implants, I am saving with the intention of doing it And I know that it is difficult but not impossible. Look for an andrologist specialized in IMPLANTS ... here are good names not too far from any situation

Dear anatomical, I understand your stress, by don't give up. I moved to Italy boot recently and married an italian lady. I have VL too and getting meds hear is not that easy. You have to insist in some cases to get treatment you need. I went too a private urologist. Cost about 120 uros but general doctors just won't be to sympathetic. Caverject is available in10mcg and 20mcg and does work if you leak is not too severe. Don't.be timid because you will not be taken seriously. Buona Fortuna

Actually it's rather easy getting PDE5s. Maybe a little bit embarrassing if you are young and you live in a small town, but having a medical prescription is all what you need. Injections are much less diffused than in US. The only one officially approved is caverjet (alprostadil).

I didn't really read like any of that, but the answer is no. It's implant. Because I've been where you are too. And I'm glad I didn't do it, cause things always get better. Implant will help.

Suicide is not the answer. I've have gone through similar situations as you and most recently this thing called ED. I recently received the implant and had major complications (or so I thought), but it was not really a complication. It was understanding what is going on with your body and knowing what to do to overcome those issues. IT WILL WORK OUT...sometimes not in the time that we expect, but let's not speed up death by carrying out ourselves. Get the implant and we all can laugh and joke about what we once thought...KEEP GOING FORWARD !
