My son is our oldest. Him & I use the same PCP. I've laid out every condition that I have to him & his sister. Fortunately he got a better genetic roll of the dice than I did. His blood pressure while needing meds, responded better than mine. Didn't have the triglycerides & cholesterol trouble that I did. No type 2 either. I think by missing out on those his erectile function is likely better than mine was at his age. But I'll be sure to tell our common doctor after my implant. That IF my son brings up ED. That he needs to mention implants as an option. It was late in the game before he told me that pills would stop working. I've been teaching doc about the implant journey. I wish PCPs were better versed in treating & then referring ED patients.

I don't wish to second-guess how you raise your daughters, so I offer this only as food for thought, not advice.

If your Daughters ever marry a man who some day does have some form of erectile irregularity, knowing that their Father successfully dealt with a similar problem might give them the tools to deal with their Husband in a more compassionate and understanding manner than they would otherwise.

Hi Lost...
I accept what you say, but I wouldn't be comfortable telling my daughters about my implant. If I had sons it probably would have been easier to tell them.
If my wife for any reason found it necessary to share this with them I could live with that. I just don't need to know.

Can you hide the surgery from your wife if she is away for few days?

All my family and close friends know. The women I have dated and had sex with all knew. It is not something I bring up with people unless I am dating some one. And only in a location that is where the cconversation will not be heard by others or younger individuals. My 2 sons are grown men abd do not have any interest in talking about it but they know about it. I am divorced but as I tell my girlfriends I cannot see how not to tell a wife or sexual partner.

Good luck with this. Some are more private with this and others promote it to those they have contact with. What ever you decide will be the right choice for you because it is yours to make and no one else.

Thanks, Smetro.

Sharing an intimate detail with someone is like going to the shooting range and handing your loaded gun for them to have a go at the target. Trust.
