Hi Richard, my doctor inflated the pump to 100% immediately after the surgery and then deactivated it. Then he inflated it to about 40 to 50%. It will stay like this for six weeks, then it will be reactivated at the clinic and explained to me.

Chris, I also had to travel back to Paris for activating but if I knew what I know now I would have managed by my own which was the plan, over video call. I know the doctors have a different approach on this matter. My doctor practice no inflation at all and after 6 weeks you should start cycling. I must say thank god this was the case for me, I could not imagine to be 50% inflated I had enough pain and discomfort without any inflation and it took me nearly 12 weeks to be ready, had a lot of bruises, swelling, soar and numbness.
On the other hand now I dont have nearly any pain during cycling so the waiting was worth it.
Your scrotum must be completely healed to manage both in and deflating, bud special deflation.
But we are all different and every recovery is unik so hopefully yours will be on the easy side.
