One thing I thought odd about my urologist visit was that when he pressed the deflate button it hurt somewhat. He suggested another round of antibiotics but said he didn't think there was any infection maybe just swelling. I can press the deflate button without pain but I have to do it carefully. He didn't do it carefully. My question is wouldn't a steroid be better than an antibiotic if there is some mild swelling going on? I didn't think about it until later.
Steroids suppress the immune system and make infection more likely.
My deflate bars hurts to use (2 weeks post-op) if I'm not careful too. There's a lot of trauma down there that needs to heal.
