I get it, I apologize if I jumped the gun a little. I have done everything humanly possible to salvage the situation and it's frustrating, so if my fuse is too short ATM, again I'm sorry for that.

I know with rare exceptions people on here just really want to help.

ElbowRoom, I went through a similar situation with my now ex-wife. 7 years ago, and we remain friends.

Life is short and you only live once. I'm much happier now and not just because of my IPP. Find your happiness and live life! Good luck to you!

Thanks. It’s been several years of frustration and I’m looking forward to living life on my terms again.

I never expected to be single coming up on 60 years old, I haven’t dated in 20 years and I’m not sure what to expect out there!

Damn, what a strange twist to life. On one hand I find it awesome that you are in agreement and the breakup is amicable, but on the other hand it's sad that's how it has to be.
Good luck with the surgery. Hopefully you will find a willing partner to give it a test ride.
