Osprey_1, I'm very sorry to hear this condition persists. I'd offer a couple things :
1) If your gf brings a lot of value to your life, you should make the most of things with her, while healing, as others in the thread recommended.
2) I know in other threads you mentioned getting a second opinion -- but I lost track of how that turned out.
3) IMHO, if for no reason other than peace of mind, you should consult with a neurologist experienced diagnosing issues 'down there'. My gut says they would confirm that thought that your nerves are still healing -- and that may help with the severe anxiety you described below.

Best wishes for coping with the healing, and as fast a recovery as possible.

I am plunging into a deep depression. I can’t sleep any more. it is painful … both mentally and physically. every day I am crushed to learn that nothing is changing. I’m loosing all hope.

I forgot to add this. Some men have a bad reaction to some of the antibacterial rinses that are used during surgery. Some man are even allergic to the antibacterial coating on the implants.

I can't say for sure. But I suspect that you are one of these men. Yes, it takes quite awhile to recover from that reaction.

I can attest to this. The skin prep and wraps with latex appear to have irritated my skin, leading to eczema flares. I was referred to dermatology and received a triamcinolone shot plus a prescription 2.5% hydrocortisone cream, which has been really effective. I was hesitant to use immunosuppressive steroids after receiving a prosthesis, but I had no other effective option on the table.

I saw this post on Reddit: someone reported their first orgasm after 1.5 years. I know that's a long wait, but there is hope!
