Welcome to the club. Ice and pain meds and become very patient. Healing takes time. Cycle etc and you'll be up and about in no time.
I was so concerned with size etc and what a waste of time that was because at some point it began to grow. Maybe it's different for everyone. I panicked when after surgery it look like not much and I was depressed for nothing. This is when I joined this site and everyone who went through the process was extremely helpful so try not to worry about anything. I'd suggest Perito youtube videos. He covers everything. I was fortunate enough to have him do mine and I watched his vid's over and over. Brought me much piece of mind. GL to ya and keep us informed how you're doing. Over two years in here.

Day 2. The night went well, but towards morning the pain got a little worse, especially where the doctor had placed the fluid reservoir.
The nurse removed my catheter and I was able to walk around the hospital. The doctor then came, checked that everything was fine and sent me home. He prescribed antibiotics and paracetamol, and explained to me about showers and care for the surgical area. Overall, I feel good.

Good to hear pain isn't bad. You're lucky to have the nurses to handle the catheter removal, it's no fun doing it to yourself.

Excellent progress, but as a poster before me wrote....Sanatize everything in your home.
Keep your hands clean because invariably you will be feeling around down there(Like most of us) and you do NOT want an infection this early in the game.

Follow Doctors orders to the tee and expect a few rough patches in recovery.
We are all pulling for you.(No pun intended.... )

Thank you to all the community members and all your wonderful support (can't upload pictures) Day 2 after surgery, 3 if you count the day of surgery Overall, he's improving day by day, taking the doctor's instructions seriously, making sure to wash and disinfect the surgical area, overall the area looks fine, I'll upload pictures if I can squeeze them in. Again, thank you all.
