When I distill it, I opine that the "whining" is the result of unrealistic expectations. An implant is not a miracle. It is not a cure. It treats impotence with the best technology we have available right now. Mine put me miles ahead of where I was before the surgery but it does fall short of the way I was in my youth and pump placement is too high for my taste. But that complaint and any others I have are NOTHING compared to a non-functioning erection.

Of course, some people would complain if they were to be hung with a new rope.

Unrealistic expectations may be one cause of the whining. My thought is some guys are just afraid of the surgery and will find excuses to avoid it. Whether those excuses are valid or not leads to the whining.

Let me reiterate, I’ve been implanted, dr screwed it up, revised with scrotoplasty, then because the same dr. That screwed it up did the scrotoplasty but didn’t correct the crossover I needed a complete revision with a different dr. And the outcome was a great looking dick. I’ve been under the knife 3 times for my implant and I’d do it all over again. I’d do it for me, my mental health and for my wife in a heartbeat. I’ve also had 2 widow makers and triple bypass at the age of 54, 4 back surgeries and I really appreciate every day to the max. I also don’t have trouble telling my friends about the implant and have had one friend actually go see the surgeon as well. The only negative that I have to complain about is whenever I see a good looking female I want to go please them like they’ve never been pleased before. That’s not a negative in my opinion, lololol
