Implant while still being potent, albeit infrequently and not stable?

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

You address a key point in my eyes, concerning the implantation.
Not having sufficient erections for sure (although it can still happen), looking for certainty and consistency over time is for me a more than enough reason to choose the implant.
Being at 60% success, or even more, is not enough. Even if the injections work 6 or 7 times out of ten, either.
The failure of a report in itself does not really matter, but what it may involve in consideration and rumination, yes.

In short, the only search for certainty and a definitive peace of mind greatly justifies the decision to have an implant.

And yet I am not someone who lives only by and for sex, far from it.
But peace of mind trumps all. And that's what I've live for a little over a year.

One can of course have other existential concerns, but at least these are addressed without the dull and permanent discomfort of possible sexual disappointment.

It makes a VERY big difference!

Many thanks, this is mirroring the logic of my own thoughts.

I am just looking for confirmation (or otherwise) from those, who's been in this very position and took the decision to go for the implant no matter that some ability to natural sex was still there.

I understand that you made exactly that and with a hindsight you see that it was right for you. Correct?

I had used pills for over 10 years and was at a very high dose and still failing. Then to injections. They were amazing at first and very consistent… I could live with that.after a few months though it started to require twice as much. Then a month later twice again. Could go on but will just say it was very inconsistent… felt like going thru ED all over again. Much like you described. At this point I was at the decision point and without much hesitation I got it approved, set up with Dr of my choice and had it done! The process still took almost 4 months with scheduling and all. Absolutely the best decision I’ve made!! BUT…. Although I had a very easy almost pain free recovery, I was greatly disappointed at first. I had lost over an inch in length and over a quarter in girth. Now for those that had lost total ability this may not be such an issue but I was still able to get rock hard abut 75-80% of the time with injections. I stayed with the pumping and perito exercises and by 3-4 months I was noticing some good improvements.. now at 7 months I’m about a 1/4” shorter than pre surgery but I’m a 1/4” bigger in girth than pre surgery! Never in my life has it been as hard as it gets now. The wife and I are totally happy with results now. So if you go with implant, don’t judge til at least 6 months as it’s a process and a little work to get where you need to be. Also it’s a big adjustment going from a grower to a 4” rather firm shower but just learned to enjoy it! If you decide to do it just do a lot of research and stay with the program… you won’t regret it!

It's exactly that.
The release of the mind from the terrible uncertainty which does not let you go, every time, every time, is, I think, one of the most pleasant reliefs in a man's life!

I wish I would've never even messed with the other stuff, pills, injections. I could've saved a lot of hassle and money including the mental part. I dont know your complete situation, but if your thinking implant then go for it,yes it is the final frontier , but saving it making your mind crazy at times and the money, you'll at least have a reliable dick whenever you want, if not just for self gratification.only you can decide if thats the way you want to go.rt now I'm at a shut down pt after 16 months post op cause wife got graves dease and we're dealing with that , so I'm having to jo myself for awhile or it might be forever, but at least I got that and either way i deal with it and its ok.
