Correct me if I’m wrong , but doesn’t the surgeon inflate you with saline to get a proper size measurement for the cylinders? This takes out stretch and how you may respond to tri-mix etc.
51 single , implanted December 2022 by Dr. Laurence Levine, Chicago, IL. Coloplast Titan 22 cm + 1 cm RTE. Started playing with Tri-mix and lead to my demise.

If he was to inflate you with saline? It is just as worthless as selecting your implant size based upon your stretch measurement. NEITHER method will measure the part of your penis that is in your body. Trust me, you do not want an implant that measures your external penis.
Men focus on that because that is what you can easily see. Approximately 1/3 of your penis is inside your body & can only be measured after you've been cut open. Sure you can guess based upon the external penis. But there is way to much variation in men to get an accurate meaurement for the TOTAL implant length. That is what you need measured.
This isn't hard to research or understand. Don't listen to any urban legends or friend of a friend stories. Skilled medical professionals have this figured out. That's why RTE's come in .5cm increments.

You guys are right. The ONLY measurement that is valuable is the one the doctor does during surgery. I think the stretch test (if the doc even does one) is really an effort to help manage expectations.[/quote]

This is my sense as well. Don't sweat the Stretch test...watch a few videos and you will see how it is measured during the procedure
