How many consults before deciding on a surgeon

I'm in Chicago like you and will be seeing Levine on August 2nd for a consult as an implant is my future. I see no harm in speaking with Petito and think it is probably even a good idea, but I would not have him perform the surgery if you are in Chicago unless you absolutely hate Levine (which from previous posts you indicated you were quite impressed with him). Why travel for the surgery and post-op when you have a well qualified surgeon near the home?
