Yes, some of us do take longer to heal. Remember my first sex 6 weeks after implanted, I hurt so bad ended up sitting in a tub of hot water to ease the soreness. Every time I would inflate it would be a burning sensation along my shaft until 6 months out. Finally figured out I had a reaction to the antibiotic impregnated on the cylinders. Since it was just when COVID started docs weren't taking appointments and just suffered through it. However a couple things I found helpful are a kids sock over my penis. That helped from the rubbing inside underwear. Also used Aspercream, smeared a small dab on my shaft to ease the burning sensation.

I’m curious, how did the doctor determine you were having a reaction to the antibiotic? I’m at six weeks out and still experiencing a burning sensation along the shaft, sometimes worse than others.

The doctor never figured it out as I didn't see him while that was going on, everything was closed down due to COVID. On top of that my wife kept me at home due to my compromised immunity.
I basically "assume" that reading other comments here on FT and other medical resources. I've always had an issue with antibiotics, they make me nauseated or feel crappy.
If you can visit your surgeon or doctor. From what I found there is a pill that will help.
