If you already decided to go for the implant and you are thinking of backing out, as the subject says, then you need to ask yourself why you are backing out now?
If you collected enough information about the procedure and you are convinced that it is the solution for you, then I believe these are just fears that you may need to overcome.
IMHO, and based on my personal experience, you may decide not to do it now, but you will still be living with the problem. You can wait 5 or 10 years, but these will be valuable years you are missing to live.
Having an implant at 50 is not like having it at 30, for someone who has ED for 20 years, for example. The drive at 30 can't be compared to at 50.

Just a word of encouragement, I am 69 years old fought ED for 15 years pills didn’t work very well but injections did, had to stop those because of curvature.I would tell you to do your homework find a good surgeon and you’ll be glad you did! Good luck and wish you the best.

I can speak for myself. I got my implant 12 weeks ago. I was going to get it several yrs ago but did not because the injections were still working a little. Also, there were. Communication issues I had with the Urologist office staff about whether Medicare covers it. I found another Urologist. The injections quit working . I figured that I was not going to lose that much if the implant did not work. At this point, things are progressing and glad I did it.
