Days 1-4 post op were showing great progress. Now, it’s day 7 and somewhere around the day 5 mark, I went from walking more and feeling progress, so extreme pain and feeling like my crotch has been lit on fire.

Willy- yes I had that same feeling, like my penis was sunburned. Went on for almost 5 months, sorry to say. Hope yours isn't as bad. Anyway my 2 tricks were kid's socks and Aspercream. Wrapped a kid's sock around my penis to help with the rubbing inside pants. Had to snip the elastic on one set. The Aspercream I'd smear a small dab around my shaft and that helped the pain and burning feeling. Wash it off before sex though.

Sorry to hear that went on for 5 months! Turns out I am allergic to the antibacterial lining used in the procedure, and now after being on prednisone for 24 hours, the pain/burning is almost entirely gone. Hopefully it won’t come back when I stop the prednisone.

That was my thought as well, allergic to the antibiotic on the cylinders.
Glad the prednisone is helping you. I'm one who just toughs it out, didn't go back to doc to say what was happening. Another thing I found lessened the pain was cannabis. After my implant my old back injury decided to speak up. My son in law had me try some cannabis. It really helped ease the pain.
