I am headed towards that direction of probably needing an implant. My biggest fear with being right at 6” is that I’ll lose a bunch of length. I’ve ofcourse heard stories of people losing length but curious how common it is. Thanks guys.

If you’re right at 6” I don’t think you have cause to worry.

Reading this board for size results is a mixed bag, to say the least. You have two extremes.....guys who gained a little and guys who lost a lot.

Those guys usually had some other things going on....bad Peyronies, other deformities.

You get to the vast majority of folks who got an implant for ED and didn’t have a lot else going on, the two categories are guys who lost a little and guys who eventually got back to their original size.

At the one year mark I’ve lost 1/2” and I continue to cycle and feel some stretch. I’ve not given up all hope that I might get to my original 6.8”. Even if I don’t, I’m fine with what I’ve got. Plus at revision time maybe he can fit me in a 21+4. It’s not unusual for the second implant to be larger than the first.

If you’ve got a reputable surgeon, 6 months after the procedure you ought to expect a dick somewhere between 5 1/2 and 6 inches long. Maybe 5 1/4 but still growing via cycling.

Guess what? That’s a perfectly normal cock. Hard, it will do tricks that will amaze you.

I said this in another post that guys tend to focus waaaaaay too much energy on size. I’ve heard ladies make derogatory comments about micropenises (less than 2 1/2” erect) and I’ve heard them complain about some guys being so big it hurt. I’ve never heard any woman gripe about a normal (5-7) inch guy who had a vague idea of what he was doing.

My surgeon was upfront and honest. He said the goal was to get me back to where I started. He said there were issues with equipment and anatomy that sometimes resulted in small losses of size. He didn’t sugar coat the poison pill but he did promise to do the best he could. I was ok with it then and I’m ok with it now.

A rock hard 5 1/2 inch cock is still damned effective for your task at hand.

This is a good answer. I was 5.5” or 5.6” before surgery. Dr told me to expect to lose 1/3rd inch length. Docs usually say this to reduce expectations of some men who are obsessed with size. After 3 months, I am back at 5.5” and sometimes I feel a bit of push pain in glans when pumped to max which means I may gain a bit more length if I keep cycling. I am very happy with the result.

Also, I hear that Titan can expand between 0.5cm to 1cm after 2 years of daily cycling. So I may end up getting a bit of more length over time. But even if not, Dr was saying he usually puts slightly larger size during revisions. It’s a win-win situation for us guys. Just trust the Dr and get the implant if nothing else is working.
A young guy in his early 30s from South Asia. Implanted Titan 22cm by Dr. Tariq Hakky in Atlanta (Dec 2020). Amazing doctor! No pain during recovery. My size is 5.75” x 4.6” which is better than pre-OP size of 5.6” x 4.5”. Hoping to gain more in future.

Thanks guys. So realistically the size loss as long as I go to a good dr is hardly noticeable, especially after a few months of cycling?

I think that sums it up well for the vast majority of guys, of course there are always exceptions.

Let me be blunt. I’m 65, wife is 63. She has NEVER been the type of woman to fawn over or worship my cock. To her it was a tool. Drooling over it in anticipating action would be like gazing longingly at a Phillips head screwdriver.

So I was shocked and surprised as hell a couple of weeks back. I had gotten out of shower and was walking to bed buck nekkid and she remarked, “you know, I’m glad it’s back to looking exactly like it always did.”

It’s slightly shorter and slightly thinner but it is close enough to where it looks like it always has. It just gets hard and erections last more than 45 seconds.

That’s a good thing.
Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.

I don't know if I should be proud of my coming up implant (Apr 12), but in certainly excited. I was sitting at lunch tonight contemplating what it will be like in a few weeks. I got a chubby (no erections with ED) which doesn't happen very often. Excited? YES. Proud? Not exactly.

There is a sliding technique to help you with the length. Dr. Clavell performs this procedure in case of severe shortening.
I ( 29 M) took Spironolactone 400 mg to treat my hair loss. As a result, the penis shrunk from 6” to 4”. with Severe erectile dysfunction. Looking into the penile implant with Sliding Technique.

There are 2 different type of size loss. The first is caused by years of ED. The second is caused by the surgeon as Lost Sheep explained. Some of the ED size loss can be recovered or slowed by ED therapy. https://augustams.com/how-to-use-a-peni ... -exercise/ That paper was done for men who have surgery after prostate surgery when erections stop but really should be used any time nocturnal erections stop or greatly diminish in my opinion. This also helps with letting the surgeon reduce loss of size pre vs post op and there is another paper on that. https://file.scirp.org/pdf/ASM_2013012514045982.pdf Another paper show the relationship of long wait periods for activation (start of cycling) to size loss. https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... prosthesis

There are other papers on this but that is the basic ones. I had nothing pre op. Nothing but VED gave me an erections. Not pills or injections. VED would get me to my healthy youthful size in the tube with therapy in the above articles. I am about 7/8" of an inch shy of that now. I went 10 years doing nothing about my ED and had I come to this site back then and worked on my ED I am sure that I would have lost less due to ED.

Basically you need to use VED therapy. Second you need to avoid the low volume doctors who undersize and have really long waits for activation if you are really concerned about size loss. But as Lost Sheep has said there are members who for one reason or another went with a local doctor and are very happy with even with some size loss. And I would like to add that even the best doctors are not perfect and you can have problems even with them. And really good results with a doctor who is not often talked about on this board. All you can do is decrease you chances. And after care is important to as I am one of the very few that went to a really good doctor and had problems. Really difficult to do after care 1500 miles away. So look local first for a doctor you trust for this then expand the search until you find what you are looking for.

Good luck with your search.

I think it depends on grower or shower. You will be a shower. It really just depends on what length cylinders you get.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.
