Seems to be that there is some change with that in the realization that genetic and brain function may be involved. Like many things thought in the past to be psychological. So this may have to do with how men and women are wired to have orgasm. As the process is very complicated I can see how there could be many things that could cause problems one way or another with this.

I'd almost give most anything (almost "sell my soul" if you know I mean) to trade my DE for PE about now, since I can stay up after orgasm until I'm ready to quit.

And I would bet there are many more on the other side of the fence saying the same thing about trading PE for DE.

I'd swear on a stack of bibles that I've muttered the exact same words, waynetho!!! Just came off another failure to launch, Tonight's helpers included my daily dose of 5 mg Cialis, twice weekly Cabergoline tabs, oxycotin nasal spray, a new high-end vibrator for men, my wife's new sexy lingerie, as well as her mouth, tits and pussy.
As I sit here typing this, if I owned a gun I would be putting it in my mouth and pulling the trigger. That's how despondent I'm feeling at the moment.

Talk to your urologist about a prescription for Cabergoline. It really helped me.

While I do have a combination of causes linked to Anorgasmia performance anxiety is not one of them. I can achieve orgasm for that release most of the time by myself. I can now perform with a partner so I have that part of me back again or will as soon as I can get in to have this one fixed. For me I really don't care if I have an orgasm or not with a partner. If it happens then it does. If not, it doesn't. I can care less either way. I do try to help my partner achieve one but that is way down from my earlier believe that I should help her have hers before I let myself have mine. Only thing now is most times a partner will have to tell me to stop as happened a few times in my youth when my partner just was not able to orgasm.

I really enjoy sex. And orgasm does not add or subtract from that for me. I do like to understand why thing happen and get information on it. So when something like this happens to me I research it so I can get my head around it.

As far as treatments for this, down at the end of that article it has a list of substances that have shown in limited studies to be effective. However it states that the FDA has not approved any of them for treatment.

Thanks for your post but if your read mine above, you would see that I aleady take Cabergoline and it hasn't done anything for me.

Why am I feeling so low? I miss the feeling of orgasm and ejaculation, and so does my wife. Do you think that makes us strange? As for whether or not something happened during the surgery, I've commented about this extensively in other posts. Please check the Anorgasmia topic for more details.

Is there anything that happens during surgery that could make this occur.

As I posted some have reported sensitivity loss. But others have not. IDK. Could have something to do with modeling during surgery or more complex surgeries. Maybe even to do with the skill of the surgeon. I had penoscrotal surgery but there are other types. Infrapubic in which care must be taken for dorsal nerves, and different kinds of deglove surgery. Maybe it has to do with the way we each have to achieve orgasm. That is just a guess by me. But as things are a bit different now I see it as a possibility. But I could be wrong. I know I have improved with time and others have reported this also. So my way of thinking is that it does not make much difference if you are just adjusting to the new you or if you are waiting for sensitivity to improve. The thing is to look at the other causes. Medication, idiosyncratic masturbation, low T, ect. Once those have been crossed off the list or corrected then the psychological side needs to be looked into. Like with ED or a couple trying to have child you can then start worrying about something instead of enjoying sex. So then as you adjust to the new feeling or sensation improves you are thinking about orgasm instead of enjoying sex. Maybe why I and other men report the ability alone but not with a partner and can result in idiosyncratic masturbatory styles. So it might not be just one thing but a combination. So maybe a bit of sensitivity change that leads to idiosyncratic masturbatory style and performance anxiety. With the last one or two remaining after the first resolves over time.

The article list a bunch of different things that can be checked from sensitivity to T levels and a bunch more. Thing is that the process is so complicated I think it best to be addressed by reading the article to get an understanding of the causes and talking to a doctor that has your medical records and can do any of the tests needed. And if needed talk with a professional councilor.

Or you can just do like me and others and just enjoy your new device.

Take care and good luck with this.
