Welcum to forum:)
Patience, patience, patience!
To give YOU some uplift, I am 5 months out. I had sex for the 1st time last week! My pumping is not on a set schedule because my pump was put in lower, so I pump when it feels OK to pump. The Dr. told me suture will take LOTS of time to heal (5 months out....yeah, no shit, Sherlock) and just do what I can.
As for the floppy head, yeah, better get that taken care of by a better surgeon. When you pump, the feeling you get is supposed to come from either the girth or length, or both, but you should get something (and if you are in the US, you probably met your out of pocket max, so another surgery you will not have to pay for).

I had my implant on June 19th. 2020. After 65 days of daily pumping (cycling) I’ve noticed my length and girth are the same while flacid or pumped 4.5” girth X 4.5” long.
I wast implanted with the AMS CX 700. When I cycle the thing the pump gets hard and I feel pain in my shaft. Do I have a chance to get more growth? How much more can I pump without damaging the pump or implant?
I’m really frustrated after having sex only one time and feeling I can barely go in (to short).
To make it worse my surgeon did not get to the gland and I have a floppy, empty, soft head that does not engorge and I really don’t know what to do.
Doctor is telling me I have a 18 CM implant with 1 CM EXTENDER TIP. Seems like most of the implant is inside and I measure 11 CM OUTSIDE.
Please if possible can anybody advise how to get more length and girth out of this?
Right now I honestly don’t even feel adamant to use it. So disappointed!
I gave some bad advice earlier. A VED probably won't help you. You have a CX which has a lifetime expansion in length of about 3 percent. My LGX expands up to 25% immediately. It looks like both of our doctors did the std measurement. The biggest difference is my LGX continued to stretch while the CX will not. If you feel pain in your tips then you have more to go. If only in your shaft the CX will expand girth. If push comes to shove stand on the edge of the bed for easier and deeper penetration. Good luck. PS you cannot really hurt you pump or implant by hand. It has a bypass design that will cause the pump to simply cycle without pumping. Reset and try again.

Re: Help please
Wow! What and encouraging site!! Thank you so much for listening and for ALL THE advice!
DougAnd: Yes, I have a CX and I know there’s no a chance I could stretch this any longer as you could do with LGX, it’s one of the reasons I’m so frustrated! The Dr. could’ve ad an extra CM knowing my chances of getting longer were minimal with the CX.
Agfa13: I’m in Miami and my surgery was performed in the UM (University of Miami). There are 2 doctors in this hospital that Their office’s are considered CEBTER OF EXCELLENCE by AMS (Boston Scientific). Dr Cava is one of them and I’ll follow some of your suggestions and will schedule an appointment with him for a second opinion. Hopefully my insurance will consider a revision.
My doctor told me I had lots of scar tissue and a curvature, but he was fixated from the very GET go to implant ME WITH the CX. I truly wanted the LGX, didn’t care so much about a curvature as long as I could get some more length.
Sorry If I can’t get all answers to the questions, but I did not imagine I was going to get so many reply’s from you guys!!! This is awesome to know there are so many people out there willing to help!! Thanks a lot!!
I’ll consider the VED (just bough it on Amazon) and will start using it slowly to see if it could help, the girth is also a BIG issue. 4 1/2 inches is somewhat skinny and I hope by pumping I could get it to stretch outward and expand enough to get at least an inch (truly hopeful this could happen) as right now I feel like the new normal is a bit embarrassing for me.
I’m 45 years old 6’3” and 200 lbs. and a 4X4 looks like I was given the wrong wrench if you know what I mean.
I don’t know how this will feel like to women and if I’ll be able to satisfy my partner.

SW0110 wrote:I know it is hard to have patience but like others said just keep cycling. I thought my titan cylinders were short at first but after cycling twice a day for about an hour each I kept getting longer. It took about 8 months to get close to my pre ed length.
I did make sure to work the head of my penis all the way down against the tips from day one just in case they were to short and I wanted to make sure no scar tissue formed in my head which might keep them from moving up in the future. Also over time pretty much all the cylinders get softer and a little more stretchy.
Make sure when you pump, the cylinders round out all the way to the tips. For the first couple months I could still feel some ridges on the side no matter how hard I pressed. No matter where the tips are those cylinders should be hard and straight. I started out with my titan at about 5.5 flaccid and hard. Ithought oh well that was it. It took a while for me to stretch back out after ed and peyronies. Over 10 months of cycling I got over an inch in length back. I will say I have a short crus though. Still I got that inch over time. If you read a lot of reviews it is pretty common that over time the titan or cx difference between non pumped and pumped is about an inch or a little bit more as the cylinders get softer.
If you were shorted it can be fixed. Not something to look forward to but the positive side is the doc knows he shorted you and knows where to start and what to add to it. On my revision I went from 19 to 20 total cylinder length. So not working after the hernia surgery had a positive in one part at least. I took a lot of pictures before my surgery where my tips were in my glans. It came in handy to show doc for the revision. He figured he could add a cm and did. For some reason I just had some feeling something was going to happen to it.
SW0110: thanks for all the advice! Truly appreciate the detailed information and encouraging words of wisdom!! I’ll keep cycling as much as possible (right now I do it twice a day for 30 minutes each) and will start being more aggressive to get better results.
Regarding the tips I’ve noticed from one blog in this site that Dr Ed in New York gives collagen shots in the glands head to people implanted With floppy glands and it cost less than $1,000 dollars? It last for almost a year and reviews are encouraging.
Down the road I might give that a try if a revision is not possible for whatever reason down the road. Thanks again!

Welcome to the forum, Mylifeback. So sorry you are disappointed. Keep looking on the bright side. There are positions for sex that WILL let you go in deeper. The two of you can learn to adjust. Remember, life is an adventure, and with an implant, you have removed one of the biggest barriers to being adventurous. Before implant, I could never maintain an erection long enough to, during coitus, stop thrusting and switch to another position. Now that my erection does not collapse so easily, we can try position after position all day long if we want.
What does your surgeon say about your glans (sometimes called "floppy head" or "SST Syndrome")?
Does the pain in your shaft feel like length-expanding pain or diameter/girth-expanding pain?
How does your 4.5" length and girth compare to your size immediately pre-implant (the most recent time you had an erection) and earlier in life?
Lost sheep: thanks for your comments!
Regarding the floppy glands the Dr is reluctant to say he didn’t go up all the way, he says that if I put pressure in the head the tips look like they com up from the neck to the head. Then right away he said I could use Trimix gel in the urethra to give the head some volume.
I’ve noticed the tips of my implant are running down towards the frenulum instead of up to the head of the penis, therefore the tip is the size of a quarter but SOFT!
My previous size I cannot recall, but I remember years ago (4 years?) a friend of mine gave me a pump and I could easily go all the way to 18 CM. Now I’m at 11 CM and with a CX I doubt I’ll get close to 15 CM.
If the head would’ve be hard at least I could manage, but having a soft head included in the 4 1/2” Gives me around 3 1/2” of hard penis.

My tips seem to point into my frenulum too. But when I get aroused, do give sufficient support to the head. I suppose that is just where my (and probably yours, too) tunica is and there is little any surgeon could do safely to change that. "You run what you brung to the race."
The spongiosum getting engorged (whether by natural processes or trimix gel or some of the injections available to firm up the head) helps and I suggest you exhaustively investigate the least invasive ways to get that before getting radical.
P.S. Inside a vacuum cylinder, it is very easy to get an extra couple centimeters. This is illusory and not to be expected to ever be realized outside a vacuum. So unless your partner has a REALLY muscular vagina

Re: Help please
MLB,
Based on others in this group you CAN gain that inch. It takes time and patience; mine took 9 months but I had problems.
You will gain more faster "in vivo" than by just cycling. I'm not a good example but I would stretch with VED about once a week before my pump was moved down and then the rest of the week I'd slowly shrink using just my scrotal pump. Having sex, deep thrusting is much more efficient so it seems. In your case sitting your wife on the bed's edge and laying on top lets you use your leg muscles for more powerful and deeper thrusting. In theory if you are encapsulated like me and others that should break it up, stretch it out faster, but not fast. You need a long term commitment from both you and your wife. At any rate while you are 4.5 inches this position (rockin the cradle) is much more satisfying and more comfortable, easier to use your fat pad and just push push instead of push pull. You can rest in place and go again and again. Good luck, try not to stress like I did. Enjoy the journey instead of running blindly ahead.

A final note. My LGX has given me a permanent curve, no way to fix it. I was straight but had severe scarring. My Doctor tried to talk me out of the LGX. Minutes before I went under he sent the nurse in to convince me I needed the CX. I said no LGX no surgery. I like to pride myself that I did it. Not true. He found my scarring to be tissue soft. That is the only reason I got the LGX. There is nothing you can do about it. It is his choice not yours. Doesn't matter what you may have agreed upon before. The proof is in the pudding so to speak. You get what he gives you period.
But on a side note. With a CX I could have been 25% shorter about 1 3/4 inches more or less.
If you get a revision do aggressively use VED for several months prior to soften you tissue. And find another doctor in netwok who loves the LGX.

A curvature shouldn’t be a big deal for me as being short has no comparison... it’s the worse feeling!
From the very get go I wanted the LGX, but the doctor seemed adamant to use the CX from the beginning. A curve is a non issue as long as I could get an extra inch or so.
I feel like when something doesn’t feel good from the beginning is not going to be great at the end. Obviously I’m encourage with all the advice given to me by you guys, but I would’ve preferred to feel that I started with a good foundation and then build from there, but right now I feel I’m just trying to make the best out of my situation and don’t think I’ll be able to be ALL I CAN BE.
I guess in a way going thru this period of despair is going to have its reward at the end. I hope it will make me appreciate the end result eventually.
I wonder if some doctors go into surgery thinking on giving you something you’ll be super proud of, or if they just install the thing and said... Well! Now you have a working penis!!!
I understand you get what you bring in and all the blablabla, but some people have a natural demeanor to make things as great as they can!!
