Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
Hi ben3199!
Would you mind giving us a quick update on your rigicon?
What are you feelings towards the implant so far? I've been specially interested in the malleables due to their simplicity, easier recovery from surgery, less moving parts and some other benefits.
I'm very curious about your rigicons rigidity for penetration. Could you elaborate a bit on that?
I'm also curious about your feelings towards its concealability.
Let us know!
Sent you a pm as well.

Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
Hi principles, I am happy with my choice so far. It's hard for me to compare with a pump version since I had no revision thank god!
If you compare with pump v. I'd ask to people who had revision.
Personally, I choose rigicon because I am so afraid to go under another surgery due to mechanical failure etc. Revision rates are not that low with pump version for all brands.
I am happy with the penetration and concealability. I believe before rigicon ,bending angle was the most important problem with semi-rigids. Semi-rigids should be superior for penetration, they have metal inside..
rigicon has titanium- stainless steel, tactra nithinol , coloplast silver..
it would be nice to compare with coloplast semi-rigid and tactra semi-rigid. Doc showed me all three choices before implantation - rigicon was easiest to bend and had the most bending angle compared to others.
Final rec- If you are in that mindset(simplicity etc) , go for semirigid.
I hope its helpful

Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
Ben,
Thanks for the update. It was really helpful.
I'm also really fearful of revisions. I'd like to minimize the chances of needing one as well.
Somehow I used to associate easy to bend with less rigidity for penetration, like for anal sex, for instance.
Have you had to adapt to anything during sex in order to properly make use of your rigicon? Any problematic positions due to it's malleability or anything else that wasn't expected ?
Thanks for taking the time!

Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
No, Rigicon does NOT have the most bendable angle. I have had it and was glad when it came out because it was bugging the crap out of me. I lost a lot because of my revisions, and for Rigicon, when it was in, was always a problem when it came to stowage..Rigicon bends down to 90 only, I am looking for the chart that I think Crtrader put up that shows the bendability of all the 1 piece implants. I forgot which one, but its bendability is over 130 degrees.
The Rigicon, being a 1-piece, is good in the fact that the infection rate is nil (unless you happen to be lucky to get an infection). It is only one piece, so there is not much to fuck up:).
EDIT: Yep, got my names turned out. I had the Tactra, not the Rigicon...forgot what I said
Yeah, Rigicon does bend more than the Tactra...LOTS more!

Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
I had a Tactra installed 5 weeks ago-11 mm x 16 cm. Not the biggest but 5.25 inches. I probably lost .5 inch after 3 years of prostate cancer treatments. Very happy to be hard again. An inflatable would probably have given me a little more length and girth, but again, at this stage in my life just happy to be hard. My only concern is how I’m going to wear it. The Tactra doesn’t really bend down as advertised, although I have not tried to be too aggressive during this healing period.

Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
Yes, I DID have a Tactra, now I have the Titan and still healing. Cock still sensitive, etc.
When I had the Tactra, stowage was a problem, esp. when I got an engorgement (have not other word for these spontaneous fillings I get in my cock). If I wore jeans or slacks, and an engorgement happened, I would have to let the monster out. I had to do this one time while driving....not good!

Re: Rigicon Semi Rigid
Agfa13 - Do you have Rigicon or Tactra ? I believe rigicon is the only one can go up to 130 -135 degrees.

Principles,
I had one anal experience so far. It was like the old days I can say
Again, when you want to bend it's not that hard. It's like activating and deactivating the monster
In the meantime, rigicon rep reached me for their upcoming clinical trial for pump version - I said no! They told me that their pump version is great etc. but I don't want to have a revision even free of charge.
