If you can't answer the members question or concern without judging his choice, simply don't answer his question. Maybe you are scared for a lot of reasons... it is a permanent solution but, for me anyway, that is a benefit.......

I'm still trying to figure out where someone was causing a confrontation, not trying to support or assist, was questioning judgment or choice, or wasn't genuinely trying to answer the OP's actual or implied question.

Being "scared" of the fairly major permanent surgery that implant surgery is, is just natural and common sense. Like much in life it's a gamble. You have to weigh what you have to gain against what you stand to lose. Thorough research would be smart. I would think the choice is a no-brainer at both ends of the spectrum. It's the closer you get to the mid-point of the gamble where it gets close and is an individual decision.

As for doing injections and pills at the same time: My first Uro prescribed Edex to my while on his daily prescribed Viagra (100s - half or whole) for therapy. He never said to stop the Viagra. My second Uro asked why I was using Viagra while using Mono-Mix. I told him it allowed me to use less mix. He just said "OK" (He actually seemed surprised injections were working for me). Otherwise I know it's generally not recommended and I'm certainly not recommending the practice or suggesting it has any medical approval. I'm a Radical prostatectomy patient with nerve damage and that may or may not make the answer different from someone with other ED challenges. I'm no doctor!
