Unfortunately I’m across the pond so it may be beyond your abilities to help me. I know of a couple of chaps over here who’ve been implanted but I don’t know how they’d feel about a show and tell.

Good day gentlemen,

After more than a decade of decreasing penile function, an intractable dependence upon pills and their decreasing effectiveness and of course, the incalculable and immeasurable impact ED has had upon my young adult life - with a crippled mental relationship with sex and arousal, at 35 and wondering if I will even be able to form another relationship ever again that isn't defined by ED and the battle against it - I am 'this close' to booking in.

But of course, with some function remaining and being the age that I am, I have some real concerns.

Mainly concerns surrounding reliability (so many posts lately seem to relate to repeated failures). Everything in life will eventually fail. Numerous failures are pretty rare

Also concerns with how natural the implanted penis looks and feels to one's self and of course to partners. I cannot speak about the Titan but if you look at the pictures of me, you cant tell. Look at some of the pictures that have been posted (Happy Toy, Leek^%, Donnie, Maxxxxx, Smetro, etc. Look at the pictures and honestly tell me that you can tell that they are implanted... You can't unless you grab and squeeze. People get artificial parts... knee, hip, heart, pace maker, etc. That's what happens as we get older... as for our young members, it's heartbreaking that it happens to someone so young but, hey, stuff happens.

Concerns too with how many revisions I will need should I live a good life span and finding a world-class surgeon to perform them That's a crap shoot... sometimes in life we just have to take risks. The alternative is no more sex FOREVER!!! That is not an answer, that is a life sentence.

and lastly but I'm sure not least of all, yes, I still do admittedly worry how future long-term partners will view me, a man with a penile implant and how that will affect our sex life for better or worse. A man who can make love to them for days and only come up for the occasional drink of water and pee break.

If anyone can offer kind words of wisdom at this critical juncture, I would be forever grateful.

The way things are right now...I'm languishing. And I am far from living my best life. My enormous potential is floating away day by day.

When ED is finished ruining your sex life, you have two choices... an artificial erection (obtained by pills, needles or implants or all three - not at once mind you), or a sexless life forever. Sure there are horror stories on here but there are FAR more successes. We have had members commit suicide because of ED and we have had members rise from the ashes and are loving life (and their partner). You just have to decide if you trust this stranger with a scalpel to attempt to put some love back in your love life. Only you can decide that. One thing that a lot of our members did was to pick a Frank Talk member that they feel they can trust (or even a few) and fire PM's at them with every question you can think of... or I have had several conversations with members on here over the phone... some lasting two or more hours... by the end all of their questions had been answered and they have a voice to the username and sometimes a face. I am happy to talk to anyone, anytime and I have a North American long distance plan so I frequently call people so it doesn't cost them. I feel ya. Im 38 years old and had ED as long as I can remember. For me, initially the pills work but once start having failures with the pills the anxiety creeps up and as soon as you are anxious and nervous instead of turned on you are going to have more failures. The failures make more anxiety and the anxiety makes the next failure. I have all the same concerns as you, but scheduled for implant week after thanksgiving in Baltimore. I just dont want to stay on the same vicious cycle anymore. Hoping for huge life improvement! I hope you come to decision that feels right for you.

I'm at 3 months and still waiting for the day when it feels "natural" I've had issues because of my surgeons. So right now I'm scheduled for a partial or full revision in December. but guess what, I gladly do that! Not the slightest hesitation. In fact I've been begging for it for months. This is Uro #8. Actually of the 8 he is #6. Anyway I already see the long time benefits can taste the grapes but not the wine. I am so excited to go through a little more pain to get this right and ENJOY FOR LIFE!
Warning. You guys need to get a ruler put it to your pube and take a measure. If you have lost your natural nocturnal erections then you are slowly shrinking. Maybe not much right now but I lost about 5/8" in 2 years plus. Most guys never get it back. Once it's gone it's gone for good. Food for thought.
