Surgeons vary greatly in post-op instructions. Dr. Eid starts soaks on day 3 not counting the day of surgery. That is the day the catheter comes out but other doctors have different instructions. Sometimes because they have different procedures during the operation or sometimes just because they get better results with their specific post-op protocol.
