How is everything going thus far post-op?

Things are progressing well. Not nearly as much pain this time as the two previous times. I'm up and around--although walking with the aid of a cane. Started back on solid food yesterday (if I ate one more bowl of soup I was going to gag). I see my doctor for a follow-up visit on Monday, Dec 29. Thanks for asking.

By the by, as I always do, I requested a copy of the doctor's operative report. I should have it early next week. I strongly recommend anyone undergoing any surgical procedure get a copy of your op report. The law requires that the facility where your procedure was done give you a copy upon written request.

According to him, the LGX sacrifices rigidity for its lengthening capability. Btw, hi everybody! Although this is my first post, I have been lurking for quite some time and I must say this forum has been my "go to" source for research. Your detailed accounts of your experiences with your implants have given me the courage to go through with this. Thanks to you all for your willingness to share.

Truth be told, I kinda liked having a big soft penis back when I had the Coloplast Titan. Tell your doc to make sure s/he jams those rods up into the glans so you don't get the notorious floppy head syndrome. And Hello back atcha, brother. Your presence and contribution are appreciated and respected here.

I am considering replacing my AMS CX with the LGX to increase length.

Is is worth another surgery?
Has anyone else made this change?
Do you lose rigidity?

Please advice

Exactally what my Dr. told me. I requested the LGX but found out after she put in the CX because the the CX does better in the girth arena and there would be a noticable differnence in the two. I asked the same question why not the Titan then and she said the same thing that it more of a natural flacid look to it when not needing it for sex. I agree.

Don’t have surgery until you really need it. Any problems with it?

There is no way I'd consider a new implant to gain at the very most 1/2" if any at all. The CX over the LGX gives you more girth from what I have read on here and from what my Dr. told me. Not worth the infection risk for a negligible gain in length. I think what you'll find if you were to switch would be a shorter flaccid dick, less rigidity and less girth. Again, this is what I can ascertain from this forum. I do know that there is someone who needed a revision did go from the CX to the LGX. He might be able to provide some insight.

nate5758: It sounds like you might have gotten the LGX, not sure but the MS part that you mention is the pump. It is suppose to be an improved pump, but for me it failed after 20 months. I am having surgery Jan 11, 2019 to replace the MS pump.

For those interested on the difference of a CX vs LGX. I had something like the CX except when I had it installed fifteen years ago it was call ultex and it worked good for all those years, but I did lose about an inch in length. I still had seven inches of penis, and it was enough for me to have good sex. Then in 2016 I had a revision and they installed the LGX and there was a big difference right away. Had almost 7/8" longer and a lot more girth. I got the length back I had lost from my first surgery and more girth. I was very happy until the MS pump failed. I mean nobody wants any kind of surgery, but I am going to have it done anyways. I just can not stand not being able to get an erection. OH! For those that are wondering whether you get a hard erection with the LGX. The answer is YES very hard, fact I enjoy having sex with a penis that is not rock solid. To me it is more natural.
age: 75 First implant around 2001, 59 at the time. AMS 700 Ultrex
revision Dec 2016. 2ND implant 21CM, 1rte AMS 700 LGX MS pump
