most of the members posting are recently got their implants or in 2016,2017 2018 I would request anyone who has had an implant for over 10 years to share their experience so far...would really appreciate it

So sorry about your stroke. We all here have shared issues and I can speak for a lot of us when we say we regret that you suffered the stroke.

well there are not enough response to any one being implanted for over 10 years which means the life time of the implant is surely not that big as it is claimed being 15-20 years...so going this route means multiple surgeries ...must have money to cover them and the will power to go through at least 2-3 surgeries during my lifetime...and permanent deformity ..

My dad had an implant, 2 to 3 years after they were first approved for use. His lasted till he passed away 14 years later. The early ones were NOT supposed to be as reliable as todays implants.

Being 37 an implant would mean multiple studies..deformities.. infectiond money..I should stick with injection I guess as long as they last ...or take the risk of getting an implant if the result is good in would surely improve my quality of life but face unnatural disabled sex and multiple surgiries. For young people I guess if pills are working or injections are working implant should be the very last resort...I had a good postion based VL...went for vein stripping thinking I can get an implant done if it dosent work but stupidest mistake ..My research on implant shows the life time is mostly 5 years that is if you have a good outcome from surgery ..I was I a much better postion should have stocked with pills much more..
I also think everyone with an implant also has a morale responsibility not to promote implants as bring better than matual sex ever..the complications are much more the benefits for young people
