Question on pumping

Postby SW0110 » Fri Nov 02, 2018 10:49 pm

Have a question regarding ved. I purchased a soma to begin pumping until I get through my next dr tests and see what my new urologist says. I am a bit nervous about it. The soma came with three tubes. I have a big glans and cannot get in the small tube at all. So I use the middle and large tube. I pump up and get up to about 6.5 long with no real discomfort just pressure. My problem is I do not get hard at all. Stays pretty flaccid but fills the middle tube. The main part of my penis expands to the size of the head. I am circumcised and what worries me is my foreskin always fills up with a lot of fluid which takes a day to go down. Last thing I want to do is cause more damage. The shaft shrinks back down but the skin stays full of fluid for the day. For those of you who routinely pump is this kind of normal. I am getting some length back. Have gone from 6 to 6.5 but am afraid to do it when the skin is full of fluid. Any help would be appreciated. I see my dr on the 14th for an ultrasound and blood flow tests to see if there is a medical issue which might be related to my fall. Depending on those evaluation determines my next step. I have peyronies and a pretty good curve. I just want to do all I can to keep from shrinking any more. .

Oh. I did get a good reply on the question on soma ved thread. I just am concerned and would like to see if the fluid build up occurs regularly in most guys. I am stuck pumping every third day until the fluid goes away. I use traction the other days for a couple hours at a time.

If I try to rush the procedure I'll get the edema. If I leave it under vacuum too long I'll get edema. I pump up, then hold it under vacuum for about a minute and then release for probably 30 seconds. I do this repeatedly until I finally get up to the desired size. You just need to experiment with the times and determine how fast you can get to size and how long you can leave under vacuum. You're obviously leaving it under vacuum too long at a time. Go more for repetitive cycles and shorter periods of actual maximum vacuum. I find that some Viagra beforehand help speed up the process. Some sort of stimulation helps too.

When I first started using a water pump I frequently got edema or "turtle neck". After a year or so of almost daily "exercising" in the shower, I had much fewer incidents of edema. In fact I can't recall the last! A side effect of the exercises was I started getting morning wood again.

Once I expand to the usual length and girth I see no reason to keep pumping. Maybe the reason for less edema is I've learned my limits. Except for using a VED and rings twice a week I never stay under pressure longer than 5 minutes. When exercising I do 5 on 5 off as I feel replenishing the oxygenated blood is more important than seeing how far I can push it.

daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.

Perhaps because I have been pumping for almost eight years for both exercises and intercourse my dick has become well conditioned. Accordingly, I only need to pump for about 30 seconds before sliding on the tension band in order to achieve a full sized erection with no edema.

For exercises, I use a pump with a vacuum gauge. As long as I do not exceed 5 inches of mercury (5hg) and 15 minutes under vacuum, I do not get any edema. It doesn’t take a lot of vacuum to achieve a good erection. Edema is caused by excess vacuum and excess time under vacuum.

I think you are over pumping, i used to get he same, i reduced pumping strokes and all's well, you may need the XL cylinder.

I have no idea why you are getting fluid on the shaft? Try squeezing it out to see what it feels like. Should flow back down into your scrotum. May want to ask your doctor next visit.

The fluid is collecting inside the cells, not under the skin. You can only wait to allow the fluid to dissipate naturally. Takes me five or six hours.
