Yes, my glans engeorges beautifully. Giving me a pubic measurement of around 7" when fully inflated. No Hawk of the 18cm implant only 3cm don't inflate. The 3cm is in the tips and rear and even if they don't inflate still add to the overall length of 23.5 including the 5.5 in RTEs

I'm sorry, Donnie but I am lost. I know you can't be suggesting your RTE's inflate (and they are 5.5 cm)
Plus the tip - Plus the fixed rear tips the RTE's attach to.

Re: usable length of implant
No Hawk,
I'm saying that only 15cm inflate but the implant in total is 23.5 cm. I get additional length from the RTEs pushing the implant forward and my engeorged glans. I'm sorry if I confused you.

Donnie, no need for you to apologize because of my being a little slow at times. You would be doing way too much apologizing

I read, "FYI only 3cm of my 18cm AMS CX is fixed. The rest is inflatable." and I mistakenly read it as - only 3cm of your implant (23 1/2 cm) is fixed and uninflatable- it was a misread on my part that I could have figured out if I had looked at your signature line and done the math. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: usable length of implant
No high volume doctor that does hundreds of implants a year has an AMS representative in the OR.
I think Dr. Kramer would qualify as a high-volume implant surgeon. But he had a Coloplast rep, who is also a very experienced implant surgeon, present during my implant surgery. I've even wondered if that's why I ended up with a Titan.
Age 72, wife is 52. 20+1 cm Titan Touch implanted by Dr. Kramer on 18 October 2017. Revision to AMS LGX 21+2 cm on 11 June 2018 by Dr. Carrion at Tampa General. Age-related ED + slight Peyronies bend (left) and slight hourglass in the center.
Re: usable length of implant
Every doctor that implants has interaction with reps. They order their replacement inventory from them, they discuss issues with the device for future inprovements, they give the doctors brochures and dvd to handout or place in the waiting room, they deliver implants. When they visit they often look in on surgeries so the representative can stay informed but I can assure you, it is seldom that a high volume surgeon has a company rep in the OR and when they do, it is not to get pointers from the rep on how to do the surgery or prepare and place the implant.

Re: usable length of implant
Just FYI, Dr Karpman-a high volume west coast doc-also has an AMS rep in the OR. (Docs who decide AMS vs. coloplast in the OR-don’t see how they would have both reps in hand. don’t really see this as an advantage re Dr K-but thought I’d mention it.
Sept 11, 2018: excision, grafting (human cadever tissue) and implant. Doc is Dr Edward Karpman in Mountain View, surgery at El Camino Hospital, LOS Gatos CA. AMS 700 CX infrapubic 18 cm + 3 cm RTE. http://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php
