Tip extenders

Sorry if this has been discussed to death but can someone explain what tip extenders do and what is good and bad. I have 2cm rear extenders. What does that mean, is it good or bad? Again sorry I’m new to all of this and learning after the fact.

it is done why worry about it. Your surgery was infra pubic or infra scrotal. That may help in the answer.
