Three hours post Surgery now. I was in recovery for three hours. I urinated in my own at hosp and have since I got it hotel. It’s bandaged up tight like a baseball. Feeling discomfort and it’s still sorta numb. Sticking out there cause he wanted it to heal standing out. I don’t remember talking to the Doc much as my wife was filling me in with the details. He only made 1 incision at the back of my scrotom and did not have to make one in my ab region, I thought that was different. He told my wife it went better than expected.

Appreciate it David–R! It’s after midnight and I awoken to pee. My stream is weak and burning sensation that seems to be getting better. Still no real pain but I did take a pain pill right before I fell asleep about 8:30. I didn’t feel at the time I needed it but didn’t want to wake up with intense pain. We are traveling home (4hours) some time today and I may just take a 800 Ibuprofen to see how I do. I didn’t get many questions in with my surgeon as everyone was in the room masked up and ready to go but he did speak to my wife while I was in recovery. When asked, he did tell me “do not cycle”, I will ask him again when I go back in a week for post op f/u. Told my wife he only made the incision behind or bottom of ball sack?? It feels like a small still rod since surgery as he has it bandaged to where he wanted it to heal pointing upwards instead of down. Said I could take off the bandages Wednesday (2 days post op). I am very curious to see how it looks after I unwrap. Anyway she told my wife the surgery went better than expected and that he went with the prosthetic that was more durable?? I assume that is his professional opinion only.
Don’t know if I need to continue posting on this thread or strat a new one so you fellers correct me if I’m wrong here. I can’t seem to stay away from you all as you ALL are my support and I don’t know anyone that has had this procedure. Thanks again!
