Best Implant Dr.

Postby GregBuch69 » Wed Sep 26, 2018 8:43 pm

Sorry I posted this in the wrong section. Am new to using this website but have been reading a lot of post. Had robotic prostate surgery in 2014 and have had ED ever since. Surgeon said "you had ed before"
Looking for a new surgeon in St. Louis or at least close and don't know what implant to use. Also am very confused about how they decide what size. I wasn't XXL by any means but had a good 7 to 8. Now am trying to get some length back but still can't hit 5.5
So if anyone can help I would appreciate it
Am planning on having the surgery done first of the year but am so confused about best doctor

Do you have insurance? I have not heard of any good docs in STL. Dr Kramer and Dr Eid aren’t too very far but you’d have to travel. Are you doing daily traction and VED to regain any list length before the implant. 2 weeks is minimum, and 3 months a good time period. Both AMS and Coloplast are well regarded and the decision on which is probably not crucial. For lost length the AMS LGX May be a good option and for maximizing girth—the Coloplast Titan. Feel free to PM me w questions. You may want to ask someone for a show and tell for the model, and maybe even implant doc you’re most interested in.
Sept 11, 2018: excision, grafting (human cadever tissue) and implant. Doc is Dr Edward Karpman in Mountain View, surgery at El Camino Hospital, LOS Gatos CA. AMS 700 CX infrapubic 18 cm + 3 cm RTE. http://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php

7 to 8 is XXL..it is a good 1.5 above average. The majority of the membership here would gladly trade you... starting with me. I was blessed with girth (almost 6) but length..... not so much.
