I think that is where they cut all the way around just below the glans. Peel all the skin down to the pubis and do the install. Sounds like torture. Skinned alive.

Gives me the Willy’s thinking about being peeled like a banana! But if that was the only option, I would think long and hard about it.

Hmmm.....penis peeling....I don’t think I would want that approach at all! Sounds a lot more painful if your left partially inflated. The shaft skin pulling down on the incision right below glans, that would be like getting erection after being circumcised and erection not going away!
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

Just imagine how much they have to stretch out your shaft skin to work that reservoir into place plus installing the cylinders stretching out a wadded up pile of dick skin. All those stitches around the shaft. I cringe. One important aspect of safe infection free implants is avoiding skin contact. How do they do that degloving you? What is their infection rate?

One method I do like the idea of was the doctor who lifts the scrotum and makes the cut in the back side. I like the idea of no loss of feeling at the top of sack, bottom of shaft plus he can make the tubing exit you cavernosa further back. I cannot remember who does it this way. Cheers.

Alibaba-
Yeah about that numbness at top of scrotum, bottom of shaft. Does that feeling come back? BTW- as I heal from my implant on 9/6, I’ve been reading merrix journal. This should be required reading for all considering implant. Good stuff!

Some report it does come back. Mine has not yet; the trigger for my post. For me, that was always my most sensitive area other than the glans. Stick it in ALL THE way so that part got the action.

Yes, that Swede is a pro all the way including backing up what he has to say.

Cheers boys.

They call it "degloving". It sounds so much nicer than scalping or skinning which is what is. You have to love these euphemisms doctors come up with. I even heard Dr. Kramer at the end of a video surgery refer to the peno-scrotal approach as "a little scratch on the scrotum". Excuse me! Let's get real!

I agree with Greg and believe it is a better approach to the surgery. Dr. Eid who did my surgery does the scrotal since it is easier and I think when placing the cylinders et al it is at a better angle. Pubic could be good to place the reservoir in ? Well all in all let the doctor decide and hopefully he will go scrotal..

Would not "skin the dick" lol

Good luck ET
Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
