Actually it is very complicated. Most people cannot understand the mechanisms of psychogenic ED. They just think of it as performance anxiety, but it can be a lot more than that. It depends on a lot of things but mostly on one's character and experiences. The irony is that it is worse if you have a strong ego and sexuality. Because you can't believe this is happening to you! Yes, it begins as performance anxiety. Now if this happens many times to you and you don't relax IMMEDIATELY, anxiety becomes fear. Fear is a stronger and deeper feeling...Now if you continue to be unsuccesful, fear becomes complex and if this thing becomes unbearable your brain just shuts the system off to protect your ego and sanity. And it doesn't stop there...Then depression kicks in for sure and you end up with the so called psychogenic ED. And this is a quite fucked up situation because you have to break all the chain reaction that led you there.

Congrats on getting some good wood back! What strength Cialis were you taking? Did you ever try 100mg Viagra? The injection that failed with your ex... I couldn't help but think that you didn't get the needle into the right spot on that ocassion to make it work? It has happened to me before but i just injected again taking my time and burying that needle where it needed to be and I was good then after a half hour of aggravation/frustration with the 1st injection not working.

I had used all strengths of cialis, especially 20 mg and viagra 100 mg. Nothing...even with stimulation. Like I said with no arousal there is no erection. As for the injection I think I did it right because my dick reacted a bit, it got bigger but not fully engorged. But I have to admit I was not in the mood at all. You can't force yourself in this, it doesn't work this way.

I heard Botox is a very promising treatment but I didn't know it was already available. Who was that urologist???

I've tried pumps, pills, and injections. I still can't maintain my erections. I've been told it is a problem with my smooth muscles. They don't relax enough. Botox would help relax those muscles so it could trap the blood into my penis more efficiently.
I'm 39 years old. Never was able to maintain my erections for more than 1 minute. Pills don't work. Had sclerotherapy by Dr. Kuehhas in Austria in 2016. Didn't work. Injections (Caverject) are the only things that gave me acceptable results.

They do botox in my country (Greece) in the Andrology Institute in Athens. They also do it in London I think. Check out International Andrology London. Keep in mind they use it only for severe cases of proven vasculogenic ED. It is a very new method and there is not a lot of information available except from clinical trials. So I can't guarantee its efficiency.

It's kinda funny you are saying this because I had a consultation over the phone with Dr. Raheem from Andrology London about 2 months ago. He told me the Botox treatment would be ready in July. I was scheduled to have another consultation with him over the phone today to discuss the results of his study and what to expect from the treatment. However, he cancelled on my few minutes before for phone call. His secretary emailed me saying that the treatment wouldn't be ready before several months... I find it very shady. You wouldn't remember the name of your doctor by any chance?

Check out Andrology Institute Athens. The doctor's name is Chris Fliatouras. He told me they do the procedure and it is worth 800 euros. But like I mentioned, strictly for vascular causes of ED. And it is effective for 6 months, then probably you have to do it again...

Can you write a link to the website? Also what do you mean with it is effective for 6 months? Does it get you an erection similar to alpostradil does, or it is like cialis but for 6 months?

Also you know about any man who got this procedure? If so, what they tell you?

https://andrologia.gr/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwvq ... 36EALw_wcB. This is the link. Botox is effective for 6 months either you do it in the face, penis or wherever. Guys I don't know a lot of things about it. I know that it works by relaxing the smooth muscle of the penis allowing more blood to enter during an erection. I didn't do it and don't know anyone who tried it so II can't tell you anything else.

Thanks for the link!

Too bad it's only in Greek though... :(
