What’s the latest with your possible floppy head. Has this improved? Many in UK will be waiting to hear as your surgeon doesn’t have the best history??

ote="star_of_pramen"]Thanks Quincy, I knew there was something I was forgetting, and that's the adhesion. My pump is 100% adhered to the skin and I am trying in the bath to gently massage it away. Have to be careful as I have a scab from my stitches and dont want to open it up at all! Good advice though, so thanks

Quincy wrote:Thanks for the update and info on concerns.

I don't have much to help with one some. With regard to pump placement, my doc said to gently pull down on the pump in the scrotum to have it move lower. GENTLY! He started me doing this as soon as the wrapping came off, and said I should do it every day, multiple times a day. To remind me, he said just do it automatically after every pee so I'd be sure to do it repeatedly. You should ask your doctor about it. Apparently, staying in one place for a long time lets the pump adhere to the tissues around it.

I've still had a little problem keeping everything separate - the pump wanted to attach to a testicle once and even more to the back of the scrotum. I asked him about it again yesterday, and he said he'd like me to massage it, somewhat hard, and keep it released. He wants it to be a like a bell clapper, free and loose inside the sack. Again, something you should cover with your doc.

Good to see that you are making progress.

I can only go by my own experience. Pre implant 6 erect. Post implant 5.75 but my girth is thicker because of the Titan which I absolutely love. So does the other half who loves the bigger thicker me.

Every couple is probably somewhat different. I was at about 13cm X 14 cm (5.1"l x 5.5"g) with the Titan. My wife hated the rigid super hardness and I had to deflate it from the max. She also did NOT like the increased girth. She told me she liked the original size much better. She also complained that she thought it didn't feel as warm as it should. My wife is an average size woman (5.5" - 145 lbs).

So, for me, the extreme hardness and increased girth provided by the Titan weren't advantages. For these, and several other reasons, I didn't like the Titan Touch. Hopefully, in a few weeks, I'll be able to provide an end-user comparison to the LGX. My stitches don't come out till next week.
Age 72, wife is 52. 20+1 cm Titan Touch implanted by Dr. Kramer on 18 October 2017. Revision to AMS LGX 21+2 cm on 11 June 2018 by Dr. Carrion at Tampa General. Age-related ED + slight Peyronies bend (left) and slight hourglass in the center.

Today was activation day, and a rather painful one at that!

I went in to see the nurse specialist so she could show me how to inflate and deflate. Basically my pump and the tubing has fully adhered to my scrotum so we had a few issues........to make things worse, if you imagine lying flat on your back, one side of the valve is facing upwards towards the ceiling with the other side downwards to my back (if that makes sense) and because it is adhered you can't properly get to one side of the deflate valve. I've been told I am going to have to massage and pull a lot at the skin to try and get it to displace.

I had been left ~30% inflated post surgery and she managed to deflate 100% by pressing one side of the valve and the other side was effectively pushing against my own body. Next step was showing me how to pump and the pump was so hard she couldn't get it to 'pop'. She was squeezing as hard as she could which was pretty painful before giving up and going and fetching the male consultant so he could have a go. He managed with a lot of force to get the first pump done and after that it loosened.

The only consultant around was Dr Garaffa, who is the surgeon Ruktitan is seeing about his revision and not the one who did my surgery. I took it upon myself to ask him about the cylinder tips and whether they were reaching far enough. He said they seemed okay and that glans engorgement should stabilise my penis during sex and if there is any issues they can give me some gel to help.

They want me to go back again in two weeks and in the mean time have told me to continue to massage the scrotum and cycle. I am slightly worried I am going to struggle to deflate given it is very difficult to access both sides of the valve with my scrotum skin attached.

Hi Star. That sounds bloody painful but I’ve read similar on here numerous times and I think in all cases it was a matter of pulling on the pump to break it away from the scrotum wall?? Not sure about the tips in the glans answer tho. I’m hopeful this is correct for you. Do you feel it’s ok and right now you have fully inflated. Did the tips seem high enough and the glans firm enough. The cream they are talking about is basically a liquid viagra style cream to encourage blood flow in the glans. Good luck over the coming days.

Interesting article in the daily mail today which mentions Dr Ralph http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... thigh.html

In other news, I wanted to post a few pics since i have been able to inflate properly this week for the first time.

What you can see is how my pump has attached to my skin, whilst one ball is dangling free and the other is almost stuck higher up and trapped by the pump. I need to work on detaching this. The second thing I wanted to highlight was the tips and how I believe I am undersized. You can see quite clearly in the side on pic how the head droops down where it isnt supported and you can also see where the tips end and spike up

Hi Star,
I am sorry about the issues you have had. It sucks that you had to deal with ED and now have to deal with these problems. I hope it all gets worked out to your satisfaction.

Greg
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Thanks Greg. It's frustrating but it will get sorted. I have booked in to go see Dr Ralph privately next month to see about a possible revision. After the results Ruktitan had I probably should have done this and not gone ahead with the surgery, so I am partly to blame. The positives are it is great to have a functioning penis again and besides the issues with the tips I am pleased with the result and 100% convinced that getting the implant was the right decision

Sorry your having to go seek revision also. We should possibly discuss speaking to someone after our revisions have been done. If they fix the floppy head issue I feel we should make a point that on two seperate incedents he has undersized patients and both had to have revisions. Must cost the NHS thousands and not to mention the stress on peoples lives.
Glad to hear yours if functioning though, this was my outlook on it. Make the most of it now as theres nothing you can do for a few months.
29 years old. Suffered with ED since 17. No known cause. First Implanted date 23/3/2018. Cylinders way too short and revised by different surgeon 2019. 22cm titan.
Cylinders still short and now pump is upside down and protruding. Awaiting 3rd revision

The first picture looks like a beautiful penis! The last one looks like a wreck. The ball and pump issue I understand. My pump was attached to my rt nut in my first one. It sucked. That implant had my dick crooked too so I feel your pain only as an old man could. I cannot imagine what if feels like being young. It makes me want to cry for you to have a mess like that just being a kid. A million hugs and hoping you can get that thing fixed. Once fixed it will be AWESOME!

Very good sir. That is one reason why I went for a revision too. There were times I wanted the first one ripped out and thrown away I was so miserable but knew there was no going back. The good part was it did show me there was CERTAINLY potential if it were done right. Best to you.
