top surgeon's infection rate is about 0.5%
If patient have no severe peyronie's disease or diabetes, and his surgery is first time surgery, infection rate would be more lower.
but for me, less than 0.5% seems pretty high
it is feasible odds..
i'm really afraid of infection...
how can i pull myself together??
Infection rate seems quite high...

With top surgeons the rate is quite low, otherwise they wouldn‘t have countless highly satisfied patients. Just go to one of the very best doctors, no matter the distance.

Just keep yourself clean, use polysporin on your incision follow your doctors instructions and see your doctor if the pain and swelling doesn't subside or if you get a fever over 104. The infection rate is pretty low

I'm almost 8 months out now. Some kind of infection started around week two and I've lived with it ever since. My implant is coming out tomorrow.
Age 72, wife is 52. 20+1 cm Titan Touch implanted by Dr. Kramer on 18 October 2017. Revision to AMS LGX 21+2 cm on 11 June 2018 by Dr. Carrion at Tampa General. Age-related ED + slight Peyronies bend (left) and slight hourglass in the center.

Are you getting re-implanted once you heal?
