Do people even know about modern ED treatments?

Postby young_and_impotent » Wed May 30, 2018 9:56 am

I am sure a lot of people know about viagra and other pills. But do they know about VEDs, injections, implants etc. ? I have never heard anybody talk about this. There is no information about this even on huge platforms on reddit. I think a huge majority of the population are suffering in silence. People here are the ones who proactively are searching for a solution.

In my country (India) a lot of people are scammed by these "homeopathic doctors" (quacks) who sell "their own medicine" for exorbitant prices. 50k Rupees (740$) for crap herbs and we know how effective herbs are. I don't think they even give the herbs which are proven to be slightly effective (maca etc.). Unfortunately these quacks the "best rated doctors" on aggregation apps for doctors. This is because of fake ratings and in general the public is gullible.

What do you guys think?

Young,

I agree. Being "impotent" is not something guys want to talk about, and the resulting silence is deafening. And the suffering goes quietly on. There is no discourse about it except maybe in a urologist's office, and many of them really have no clue about anything other than the pills.

Thankfully, Frank Talk is a place where we men can safely talk about the whole range of our sexuality -- abilities, inabilities, feelings, successes and failures. There is no place else that I know of where this happens.

My training info for speaking at men's health seminars said that at least 50% of men there attending will never have heard of implants. That's where my talk becomes so important. I'm fully committed to having implants being as mainstream accepted as viagra tv commercials. I have two seminars booked for July already and have begun taking phone calls from guys looking for answers. It's incredibly rewarding to be a part of life changing decisions.
Became DaveKell 2.0 on July 18th with Dr. Allen Morey in Dallas, TX. AMS 700 CX implant. 18cm with 5.5 RTE's.

Im not positive where I first heard of Penile Prothesis. I vaguely recall something from a long time ago, probably in "Penthouse".

More recently I got a mailing from a local hospital where I had been analyzed for ED 20 years ago. This was back before Viagra and Yohimbe and pumps were about all they did then. They were holding an informational meeting on implants.

From there I began the one year+ reseach and Quest that resulted in my Surgery.

Im sure expense is one reason implants arent more common, but yeah; men are ashamed to talk about it. Having intercourse again is great ;but I decided to go ahead based on my selfesteem.

There was a Herbal that was put out by a vitamin company , not a daily suppliment;but an as needed that I was able to source in 2008 that worked for me as advertised.

They fucked with the quantity per bottle, changed the name, changed their marketing. I lost track of them. I had -0- side effects. This shit worked ! One of the few that did.

I told others about the product and it worked for them as advertised too.

I always wondered why pharmacutical companies couldn't produce something better than they presently do.

The ignorance on the subject of sexual dysfunction is astounding, even in rich countries and among cultivated people.

ED is easily treatable and there are many effective treatments available today but millions of men still suffer in silence.

This is not surprising, sexuality is still a taboo and there is a lot of prejudice and disinformation.

Call me paranoid but I believe big pharma companies are partially responsible for this. ED is big business and these companies don't like competition.

I've talked to men that knew about the pills, but not anything else. For 10 yrs while I was struggling with pills and searching for answers I came across FT and that changed everything for me with injections. I live in Michigan and this year they put an advertisement on TV on ED and I said to myself it's about time. I think ones that can't afford to go any further just let their dik go limp . I too don't know if there's an implant in my future on a fixed ss income.

If injections work good and don't start scaring stick with them as long as you can. Nothing beats a blood filled dick. But Medicare will pay for an implant at 65.
