Have you had both an LGX and a Titan?

Postby Hawkman » Mon May 14, 2018 8:56 am

I know the sales line and the medical explanation of the differences.
LGX - softer deflated and shortens up to 20% deflated so looks more like a natural flaccid penis.
Titan - Comes in 2-centimeter increments and is firmer when inflated
Depending on length and girth, one might fit you better than the other.

I am interested in actual user information from those that had both. If your replacement was due to an original surgery that went bad then the comparison might not be a fair one if you have had both, please try to give the best, fair, the comparison that you can. One thought is that I am a little concerned that a Titan will make me look a little aroused in a public shower unless it is deflated to the point that it will make my penis look deformed.

Thanks! You guys are the best!

I've had both and I would describe the difference as between a pencil and a cigar with the coloplast far superior in girth and durability. The AMS never really got hard enough as well. Some here may disagree I'm just telling you my experience.

Boulder, would you refer to the AMS as a flawed surgery that needed to be fixed or a good surgery?

Are you 7' or more in length or above average girth?

Does the deflated size or the Titan bother you?

The AMS surgery was done in Houston and I believe was very flawed. No I'm a normal 6" in length but above average in girth. And yes, the Coloplast is a bit more noticeable while deflated due to its thicker more durable material. Ask your doc to show you an AMS and Coloplast and when you lay them side by side you will see and feel the difference.

Here's some photos I took with my iPhone in Dr. Eid's office.

Notice that the Titan is stiff and doesn't exactly bend. It folds. And notice that when it's deflated, it flattens out. It also doesn't stretch. It gets very hard when pumped but doesn't really get smaller when deflated. I don't know as much about the LGX because I have a Titan Touch.

I've had the AMS 700 LGX since 12/16. I have no idea what your AMS problem was as to hardness...if I pump mine up to absolute maximum, I could use it as a hammer!! Deflates well...looks natural under dress pants when flaccid.
...69 years old, married over 30 years, serious ED for around 10 years. AMS 700 LGX 21 cm +3 cm RTE implanted by Dr. Andrew Kramer on Dec 7, 2016.
