I have to wonder what happens to that tiny high pressure blast when it slams up against the tunica. Blasting through skin and soft tissue may be a totally different prospect than passing through the tunica. How much disperses at that point compared to how much passes through into the cavernosa. If it's deflected by the tunica does is cause damage to the tissue at that point? When the meds are blasted in at high speed does that itself cause tissue damage?

I won't claim the topic doesn't interest me but I'm glad it's your dick being experimented on and not mine.

Good luck.

Well ,I wouldn't exactly say I'm "experimenting"--I'd say I'm "investigating"--I've been wondering about the permeability of the tunica since you mentioned it a few days ago--there has to be some relevance there. Status report:-- I've tried the needle-free injector 3 times with no real results----- and today I ordered the Auto-injector---I like to talk big, even willing to bet a couple of hundred on a long shot--but at heart (or maybe I should say at dick), I'm pretty much a conservative---

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't understand how the needle-free injection could work with trimix. The needle-free gadget that I encountered in the military was simply supposed to penetrate the skin and inject into the tissue beneath. This I believe is called an intramuscular injection. Flu shots, for example, are intramuscular and could presumably be given with either a needle syringe or the needle-free appliance.

But with trimix the object is to go THROUGH the tissue and dump the medication load inside the cavernosa. Any of the serum deposited in the outer tissue of the penis is wasted. I don't understand how that could be avoided using the needle-free injector.

Dear Frinds,

I am a dentist, but I’m not aware that these needle free injections are widely used in our profession. We have a devise available for $3000 but don’t know anyone who uses it.

I still checked out the Australian product and I’m sure it works throw the skin and even in the mouth. But I have some concerned using it on the penis.

Anywhere on the body there is only a very thin connective tissue under the skin that tightly attached to the surface. The tunica in the penis is extremely thick and dense that’s why the penis can get rock hard when erected. Plus the skin is not sttscked to this tunica you can slide it up and done about an inch.

My concern is that the strong spray this device uses wound bounce back from the tunica and end up deposited under the skin maybe even causing hematoma. I don’t want to talk anyone out of getting one. I certainly won’t consider it. I’m extremely happy with my Autoject. Plus while regular syringes only cost pennies the special syringe that devise requires cost around $3, which can end up hundreds of dollars a year. Syringes cost $15/100.

All the best!

Looks like those of us who are not favoring needle-free injections are right, at least right now. I just spent some time reading a research report I found thru researchgate.net-- you may want to have a look--"-Delivery of intracavernosal therapies using needle-free injection devices"--dated July 2017 I think. The researchers tested devices with several designs and if I understand their results, only the Bioject #3-2000 could deliver Tri-mix thru the Tunica layer. This is a CO2 powered injector. Lesser Bioject devices wouldn't do the job. The authors indicated that this approach might lead to scarring tho they were not certain. Their testing was done on both bull and human cadavers and there are some interesting photos . I believe, tho not sure, that the device that worked costs about $1,000. My own take on this, for what it might be worth, is that is the wave of the future---but not ready to use yet. I'm 84 so don't expect to be around long enough to see it happen, but a lot of you guys will. The Comfort-in injector I bought we will use to deliver my wife's vitamin B-12 shot!

Thanks for your effort and updates, wstephens!

Yesterday I mentioned a site I'd found that reported a scientific study of needlefree injections. Think I mentioned too that I was going to try one of the Autoject 2. I got mine, tried it, and like it better than the needlefree injector The Autoject 2 actually caused less discomfort (i.e.it didn't hurt hardly more than a pinch--less than the needlefree--) Not to mention--it cost less than $35 while the other was closer to $275. So--- that's my report to you guys---

Just looked at my earlier post and realized I may have left out the main info-- I never got the needle-free injector to work! Tried it 3 times-- got no results!

Are you using 29ga needle with the Autoject2 In my past post I have described failures with the autoject2 and 31 ga needle, because my tunica is so hard it bent the needles on the tip. Found that Autoject recommends a 29 ga needle.

Thanks for the tip about the 29ga needle-- I am following your advice on that. Also want to mention--- right now I'm using the 1/2inch needle but backing it off so the injection depth is less than 1/2inch but more than 5/16th--works good for me. After this no more comments from me on the needle-free site.
