So. Been reading posts here for a while. Decided to register as you guys have a lot to offer in the way of knowledge & support. Sept/14 i was diagnosed w prostate cancer. Found myself on the table a week after thanksgiving. Nerves could only be saved on one side. 2 1/2 years undetectable psa. Options for help w erections either didnt work or were terribly inconvenient. So 5/23/17 i am scheduled to undergo surgery for lgx. Did ton of research & seems like my best option. Nervous & excited at the same time. I've read the horror stories as well as the successes & honestly i have no other choice but to believe !

Well my friend, you've come to the right place. There are many members who have implants, take pills or inject. You should consider creating a "signature" which should include your age, location and a short version of your love life. For example, 52 years old from Dallas Texas. ED for 10 years, take 5mg Cialis daily and Viagra before sex. Believe it or not info will greatly assist the members when they answer your questions. :)

Hi guys,

I just became a member. I am 69 years old and have been struggling with ED for for the past 3 years and I had been declining during the few years before that. Viagra and Cialis were not helpful (Cialis maybe a little bit). I started using injections which work but I nearly always have pain afterwards and sometimes slightly during having sex. Another problem is having orgasms.

The frustrations and disappointments of all of this motivated me (especially about 2 months ago) to lose weight and get in better shape. I have lost 10 lbs and have gotten a little stronger. I am eating better and have stopped drinking carbonated beverages which tended to result in irritation when I urinate (I have an enlarged prostate).

Well .. I hope this is a good start. I will look forward to sharing and learning from everyone.

Thank you,
HMan007

Good morning and welcome;
My name is Larry, I am Canadian and I reside in Ontario. I am the moderator for FrankTalk. My job is to make sure everyone plays nice in the sand box, post messages in the correct thread and don't advertise in any way for their surgeon. It's fine to mention him or her but that's about it. Finally, I may be called on for other assistance... I don't have access to the fine working details (nor do I want them) but in the case if a software problem, I can get you pointed in the right direction. This is a great bunch of guys that you will feel very comfortable talking with because we all have one thing in common... our dicks don't work properly.

You should create a "signature" which will help our members help you anytime you have a question.

To add your signature.... look in the upper right hand corner where get your notification and Private messages. Your Profile name is there too, just click on your name. Another window will open, then click on the "User Control panel" tab, then on the left side in that box you will see "Edit Signature".. click on it and then you will be able to add what ever type of information you wish to add....it's easy.

Include things like date implanted, doctors name, Make - Titan or AMS, size of implant, rte's? any story you wish to share - like ED for 15 years, or whatever, any medical info - like diabetes, or high blood pressure, etc. or 33 years old, single gay man with ED for 10 years, thinking about getting an implant. Here is mine:

AMS 700 (18 + 2). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait.

Larry
