Any of you have a good outcome after "replacement" of the implant.
We all know that the implant will quit working maybe after a decade, and we all have been told that "getting it replaced is a little easier on the patient then the initial surgery"
QUESTION : "is it true that implant replacement surgery went smoothly from your own experience ?"

Yes, in some aspects the recovery is faster.
54 years old, happily married for 30 years to a beautiful & outstanding lady. Onset ED at 49. Finally fixed on 11/08/2017 by the master Dr. Eid with a Titan XL 26, no RTEs! Previously had 3 AMS implants (LGX & CX), all botched.

Why do implants last so little time?

A lot less pain. First implant I used my entire prescription of norcos. After revision, didn't use any. Was able to get away with Advil.

Great question mine is going on 4 years no problem yet. I also heard that a lot of the time they have to go to a larger implant. True or false?

Yes. Most of the time you'll end up with a larger implant.

On the other hand I have read reports from one guy here who said he lost size with each implant. After 4 implants he was down about 1.5 - 2 inches.

That sucks. No one wants to loose anything. It didn't cross my mind of loosing any thing on a redo.
