So it's 3 weeks since my 3rd implant. No real pain but a frequent "dull ache" in my penis. Different from my last implant, Dr Perito wants me to stay "mostly deflated" until my next visit (next Monday). A bit disappointingly, this makes my flaccid "left turn" (the "gift that keeps on giving" from my first botched implant surgeon) constant and uncomfortable. Only a bit concerned because Dr Perito was previously able to make my "very bent flaccid / very bent inflated dick" perfectly straight when inflated.
When I went back to Dr Perito a month ago with my "flat tire" I told him my only complaints were "cold head" and I felt it could have been 1/4 to 3/8 inches longer (6-10 mm) and 'I've had so much fun... I love this little fucker'.
My first revision dealt with fixing the first surgeon's mistakes and Dr Perito did a wonderful job. He found this revision to be a bit more complicated than expected and wants me to do more healing before cycling. He also said he "upgraded" me and made me 'longer, fatter and stronger', adding 2 cm (appx 3/4 inch), which I certainly appreciate. My absolute faith in Dr Perito's skills give me great hope even with my "flaccid bend"!
I am hoping not only to start cycling next Monday but to get a " green light for fucking". We'll see.....)))

Good luck!
What did the first surgeon do wrong that enabled Perrito to be able to add another 2 cm?

Re: 3 weeks post-implant.... 2nd revision....
the top of the list of errors for the first surgeon was a "cross", so both "balloons" were in the same "cavern". Don't really remembered how I measured then. I think was "about" six inches before my RP in 2010. Repair was complicated and I was very happy with my hard little dick...I think I ended up around 5.5". When I talked to Dr Perito after my "flat tire", I told him I thought I felt like it might have taken another 6-8mm (1/4" - 3/8"). This time, mainly dealing with his own work (the damaged "cavern" from the "cross" was still an issue, though), I guess he felt comfortable enough "upgrading me".
Re: first implant - In addition to the cross, the reservoir migrated down to my pubic bone (Perito said this was actually dangerous) and the pump migrated to next to my thigh to where I could not reach both button to deflate. I remained 60% or so inflated from sometime in January to late April when Perito "revised" me. Downside: it was uncomfortable from Jan - April. Upside: I could still fuck!!!

Re: 3 weeks post-implant.... 2nd revision....
sounds great.
Many of us will one day face a revision (hopefully ten to fifteen years from now);
QUESTIONS:
1) why did your implant fail after one year ?
2) you were "upgraded" in terms of size ---- is this a common practice for revisions ?
I do hope you heal super quickly, and that you can get back in the saddle again very soon

First implant did not fail.... surgeon failed..... second implant failed in just under 3 years, apparently tubing from the pump "spiraled" and disconnected....cumulatively, several months of pain, several years of fucking..... fair trade...)))

Catman, I'm with you.......the implant is the best thing since sliced bread.....I've been having a time of my life with this thing and would have a revision in a heartbeat if/when it fails or gives out......I've already paid my fee in pain/discomfort, would be happy to do so again, and I consider it a bargain.....much better that a sale on Hass avocados or my half price metrocard (and I love my half price metrocard but I only get half a stiffie when I use it).......and once again as it's been said many times......pick one of the best surgeons.....it will save you time, pain, aggravation, and money in the long run.....
Implanted Jan 4 2017 by Dr. Eid - 70 yo and single...ED gradually over 15 yrs...tired of pills, injections, cock rings....happy with my choice and results. Titan OTR - one 20cm cylinder - one 20cm+1 RTE...."got a rocket in my pocket"....
