Thank you everyone. Airline tickets purchased. Will try to get pre op testing tomorrow. I've already seen cardiologist for anomalies ( enlarged left ventical related to long term Testosterone therapy) and have that paperwork.

What is everyone's recommendation for hotel? Looks like I will be there 5 days. Wife is TERRIFIED of going from hospital to hotel alone. Beauty shop and store once every few weeks is the ONLY places she goes herself any more. Anyone know of an escort service? Wife is upset and I did not know till they were paid for that we don't sit in the same sections on either flight. Should have tossed in the extra $460 for first class but being a lot more of this implant cost is coming out of my pocket I did not. Out of pocket Now up to $6800 and climbing. Thanks everyone. ...I highly recommend the Hotel Indigo...cool boutique-style hotel about a mile from University Hospital.https://www.ihg.com/hotelindigo/hotels/ ... SA-_-BALHN The hospital has a special patient rate there along w/a few other hotels...got a two room suite for $119 & you might be able to get it in the $80-$90 range online...excellent in-house restaurant for room service ("Poets"). Great TVs as you'll be in bed w/ your feet propped up for a couple of days. Nice upscale city grocery store about four blocks away...take a right on Charles St. Keep in mind that the hospital has an excellent free shuttle which will pick you up/drop you off from the hotel. This includes your pre-op visit to and from Dr. Kramer's office the day before. Tip: take Uber from the airport...half the cost of a cab & always nicer...PM me if you want any other info...too bad you're not flying out of STL, as Southwest has non-stop round trips to BWI for about $260...btw: as I came in alone, I did hire a medical companion service to wait for me & take me back out to the shuttle...let me know if I can be of help...

The wife and I stayed in the days inn two blocks from the hospital and Kramer's office.One of the nicest days inn I've stayed at.Newly remodeled brand new flatscreen tv's,also a very nice restaurant and room service.I got it for $89 pernight through orbiz,cheaper than the hospital special rate.Just tell the front desk when you want the free shuttle they will pick you up right in front.
My wife was also worried about going back to the hotel on her own.Not to worry you will go back with her,Kramer will come to your hotel to see you.
