nerve healing???

A very new area of interest is penile physical therapy. From exercises to stretching to vibrational therapy, it's all new and still being studied. This is where we can share techniques, exercises and successes.

nerve healing???

Postby spanzo » Tue Jan 06, 2015 1:22 pm

So 1 1/2 years ago had davinci "nerve sparing" surgery. But today, the only thing that reliably gets me erect is a trimix injection. So I am thinking that since that works so well, but Viagra does not, that everything in my penis must be OK except for the nerves in there. Is this so?

So, is there ANYTHING, even new experimental treatment, that can help that darned nerve to fully heal? Any over the counter supplements, drugs, procedures, gene therapy, etc, that has clearly been shown to help regenerate/heal that damaged nerve???

I don't know about nerves ever healing , seems to me once they're severed they shouldn't grow back . I have been using estim for penis tissue rehab , seems to be working , in the last six months I have gone from 12 units to 8 with the same results with trimix, I have also been getting a little morning wood which is new . If a put a little silicone c-ring on I can get almost a half erection which I haven't been able to do before . I have read a few clinical tests that verify carvernosal rejuvenation using electric stimulation , that have had some good results , so maybe there is something to it .
Radical prostatectomy Mar . 2010 age 63 , everything good except for ED . Have tried the big three pills , VED , and Muse , results unsatisfactory . My trimix formula is : 25MG Papa ,.8 MG Phento , 8 MCG /M PGE 1

Stem cell therapy seems to be the latest in getting your nerves to work again. I am trying to get into a clinical study now.

Ventura, how did it go? Are you in the study??

My penile nerves are still going downhill. I used to only have trouble getting hard, but could still dry cum (after PC). Lately, I can not longer dry cum, even after a herculean effort. Arrrrgggggh!

Hi Spanzo, there has been a delay in the funding for the clinical trial. It has been 10 months. They said they will get the funding and will start up again. There are centers now that are doing stem cell work. But it cost a lot of money and no insurance will cover it. I will post again when I get back into program

doc said nerves get really damaged with nerve sparing. Stretched, pulled, peeled off the prostate like an onion, nicks in them. Said it was not unheard of a nerve healing but it could take years or never. He prescribed vitamin E. Said there was a study that said that helped but the surgeon went wide and saved no nerves so it did not matter for me. He also told me that some nerves that are severed can find their way together over time. If you had a wide prostatectomy you likely have 1 1/2" gap in the nerves though so that is unlikely. Also the nerves cover the prostate like a net. If they save one side but your brain was wired to use the side they whacked, you are screwed anyway. Interestingly, he told me that they used to snip nerves to help with premature ejaculation. He said they nolonger do that surgery because the particular nerve they cut often grew back...... Nerves are fickle like politicians. I've used estim for 15 years. Like the shots and pills, it worked less and less till it did nothing either. Made me wonder if it "burned out" the nerves over time. d

You might want to try going to Canada for the ed1000. Talk to the distributor and take their survey to see if you are a good candidate. Tretments can be done in Toronto or Montreal. two or three times per week and two or 3 weeks depending, on your selection due to travel needs. Tests have been completed in the US but the FDA has not ruled on it yet. I am testing the 9 volt thing from a good manufacturer, who knows if that will accomplish rejuvenation. The ED1000 is suppose to redevelop the tiny blood vessels that are shut down precluding erections. It is not cheap but cheaper than meds and/or makes the meds effective. try this email for info: info@ed1000.ca

i have heard of this. But if the problem is a damaged nerve ending, how does the sonic shock of the ED1000, which grows new blood vessels, help? Would this help at all in regenerating the nerves from a botched "nerve sparing" procedure?

Gene therapy and stem cell therapy both show good results in early trials, and both claim to aid in nerve regeneration.

Here's a summary of experimental treatments in the pipeline.
