Re: Las Vegas Doctors/ Malleable Implant
Be patient. You're going through something really momentous for your life! I'm a couple weeks away from being 5 months in and, to echo LastHope, sometimes I forget I even have this thing. It feels so natural that sometimes I still worry I'm going to lose my erection when I'm having sex. But, nope! Lol. You're about 8 weeks away from the best sex of your life. These days the only reason I quit in bed is because my legs cramp up after pounding away for 3+ hours...
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024. Read my implant journal here.

Re: Las Vegas Doctors/ Malleable Implant
So it has been one week following my surgery. As far as the implant goes, I don't have much pain and the infrapubic incision is still tender but seems to be healing up. I am still trying to adjust to sleeping (I'm a side sleeper and sleeping on my back is hard for me). I'm also trying to find more comfortable shorts.
However, I have another problem now which is starting to have me really considered. The bandages/ "Mummy wrap" around my penis and testicles following my surgery were too tight and since removing the bandages, I have a LOT of pain in my left testicle and it looks bruised. There is a pronounced vein that is blue/black in color. Doctor says I should monitor it and reach out if I get a fever, pus, or if it becomes swollen. Which thankfully I don't have any of those, but it is starting to become very painful and difficult to sleep at all at night.
So fingers crossed that the doctor didn't damage my testicle. Yikes.

did you get inflatable or malleable. if inflatable, is the testicle pain on the same side or near your pump?
I would use some heat - heating pad or pack or warm bath if surgeon says ok + gentle stretches on the testicle
65 with ED for >10 years. Failed pills, not happy with injections. Implanted 6/24/24 (AMS CX 21 cm) with Dr Darshan Patel at UCSD.

I got a malleable implant so there's no pump or anything in my testicles.
Currently using warming pads and arnica gel to see if it improves but I hope they didn't fix one thing and break another lol.

A pillow between thighs or legs was comfortable for me during recovery as I'm a side-sleeper too! I hope your pain resolves soon.
