PT-141
PT-141
Has anybody had any experience with PT-141 for treating ED? It has been approved by the FDA for low sexual arousal in women, but has shown promising results for men with ED. I just happen to come across some articles on the internet. Also it seems some physicians are starting to prescribe it "off label"...any comments or experiences?....https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18206919/
70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.
Re: PT-141
I’ve read that some guys find it useful and effective. I tried it twice and it did literally nothing for me.
58 years old. ED for 12 years. Pills faded and then effectively stopped working about 2 years ago. Started with bimix, but recently switched to traditional trimix: 30 papaverine, 2 phentolamine, 0.2 atropine, and 5 mcg PGE. Usually inject about 10 units.

Re: PT-141
I tried it a handful of times, and I do believe it made getting an erection a little easier, but it didn't increase desire at all. It's supposed to do that.
I read a lot of testimonials - it's wildly variable. Effective dosages vary wildly, onset varies wildly, effect varies wildly. And it doesn't affect some at all.
Some say it also causes tanning or skin spots, some say it doesn't but I definitely don't need any of that. For all these reasons, I shoved it to the backburner of things I tried to improve my situation, but haven't ruled out trying from a different dealer because some swear by it.

Mid 60s, fit, active, healthy, gym/cardio/yoga buff, no ED issues til about 60. Textbook old-man dick decline. Bloods OK, T low but OK. PDE5 effectiveness declining, but still work OK. Just added 30 Pap/3 Phen/20 PGE1 trimix to the "tool" box

It’s been discussed a few times here. Posts will turn up with the search function. Checking out those will give you more input.

Re: PT-141
First, my ED is a result of diabetes. I used it 4 or 5 times several years ago. It definitely increased my libedo, but it did nothing to improve my erection quality. It also generated a very strange feeling that lasted an hour or so. It left me with increased desire but no “tool” needed to satisfy it.
