Injection site or mix that causes scarring?

Postby Kiawahgolf » Mon Feb 27, 2023 10:28 pm

So is it the Trimix that causes the scarring or the actual injection?

Thanks!

In Trimix it is an ingredient in it called papaverine that is acidic which increases the chances of scarring.

However, scarring from the injection can also occur. Particularly if you are using the same spot or are using anti-coagulants.

Who knows? Some guys are sloppy with the injection protocol and never get scarring. Other guys do follow the protocol but never get it from the Trimix itself for many years.

The more I read of the accounts on FT, the more I am convinced that it just varies from person to person and there is no absolute answer to the question of Trimix scarring.

Just my non-medical personal opinion fwiw.
