Exactly 12 noon: I peed. Used the running water routine.

It hurt & is really dark but it came out!!!

Whew! A relief in every sense of the word. You did it!

Now do your best to relax and put your mind in the zone that you need and deserve to just take it easy. Be ambitiously lazy and let mother nature do her thing. You’re already beginning to heal.

I was also able to drive myself home, as my doc said I could.

They just won't let you drive yourself home if they give you any narcotics for pain. I didn't need any.

My GF picked me up but I'm a better/faster driver than she is and I felt well enough to drive.

Just a dull ache down there but no problem driving. :D

Before I forget, my doc said he installed a pair of 20 cm cylinders with a 1 cm RTE.

That computes to 8.26." Since I was 5 3/4' length, that should equate to 5 3/4 out and 2 1/2 in. My girth was 5.5" before. We'll see what the after #'s are after I've done 2 weeks of cycling after the 1st wk of recovery.

Isn’t it great that here you are, day 1, making jokes about the girlfriend’s driving.

Yesterday, you were thinking “please, god, don’t let anything bad happen to my dick!”.

Happy for you amigo. Going to be great.

1145pm 1/25:

Home in my WARM bed now.

Peed & pulled the pump 3x today, inc 1st x at hospital. Easy to feel the pump bulb and where the tubes enter the valve but it's hard to discern where the deflate buttom is located. Should get easier later. Just pulling down from the top of the bulb w/o pressing it for now.

Doc put me in a jock strap (JS) w/a hole cut thru the front for the dick 2 pass thru wc was padded w/a bunch of cotton below the scrotum aft surgery

Wore it until bed tonight but found it really uncomfortable. Discovered a 4" scratch along my right hip where the waistband fits after I look the JS off. Felt an irritation there last night but wasn't in any position to examine it then No idea how that happened but had to have been when they put the JS on me. I treated it w/H2O2 & Betadine & put a large bandage on it.

Instead of the JS, I cut a hole in old pair of black leggings to wear instead. It's warmer and way more comfortable and to cover my junk I inserted the top of a black sleeveless t-shirt in the waistband so that the rest of it is drapped over to cover my junk.

After taking the JS off I also discovered that my junk is very swollen w/bruising circling the base of my dick. Started taking acetometiphen & ibuprofen l, when I got home, which has helped w/the discomfort & inflamation.

Doc repeated "No ice" to deal w/the swelling bc, while it may help to make it feel better, it impairs healing. He said the showers that I can start taking tomorrow and the baths the day after will make it feel better & will promote healing.

Looking forward to my 1st shower post surgery tomorrow morning.

I took couple of pics when the PA removed the catheter and drain. Can see some light staining at the bottom of the gauze near the wound; not much just a little at the bottom edge.

A little blood came out of the urethra when the catheter was removed. Have peed 4 times since then and can't tell it there's any blood in it. It's mostly orange from the bladder relaxer they gave me at the hospital to help me pee. The color should lighten to normal as time passes.

1/26 8am: Had my first shower today. Felt good. Washed genitals w/Hebiclens and rest of the body normally.

Spent some time feeling/pulling on the pump. Hurts a bit (inside & out) to pull on the pump. Skkin of scrotum is very sensitive. Didn't want to pull too much. Seems well positioned between & behind the balls. Still have a hard time discerning the deflate button. Also found it easier to pull from the top of the valve where the tubes enter.

Swelling really makes the penis look smaller. Measured it and it's inflated to about 5" which, assuming I regain prior length, puts it at about 87% inflation. Doesn't look like that. But it's not 4" which would be 70%.

My dick is hanging about about 8 o'clock now. It was at 9 o'clock when fully inflated.

Thanks, ThailandBound.

I wasn't making a joke about my GF's driving. She really is a poor driver.

Everything seems to be going well so far. Very little discomfort down there today. Had no problem sleeping last night. Fell right to sleep unlike my restless night at the hospital last night when I was pretty much up all night; napping in short spurts. Peed as usual after getting up; pulled on the pump as directed after I was done.

Appetite returned after I left the hospital but I still haven't had a BM since the night before the surgery. Took some psyillium this morning to help things along.

Woke up w/a slight headache & some nausea. Normally, have coffee in the morning but I don't think that would agree w/me so am drinking tea instead. Don't feel hungry at the moment. Will wait til l do to eat something. Lots of food in the house.
