Dr. Eid's Patients
Dr. Eid's Patients
Could the gentlemen that traveled from out of state to have Dr. Eid perform their implant surgery tell me where they stayed. I'm looking for recommendations. The hotels in the immediate area are running $300+ per night in December. The hotel across the street from the surgery center varies from $500-700 per night. That's pretty crazy. Just looking for a nice room with a small fridge and store close by that the wife can walk down to and pick up some supplies. Is it better to stay a little farther out and where at? Thanks
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

I can't help with NYC hotels and Eid, as you know. Try posting this in the Implant thread and you might get more replies? Congrats on moving ahead!

I stayed at pod 51 in NYC. Less than a mile from Eids practice. The hotel is pretty barebones but I just wanted a place that was cheap and it definitely was that.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Re: Dr. Eid's Patients
This is a thread from almost 3 years ago that discusses the logistics of a hotel close to Dr. Eid's office and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH). I was alone for the few days surrounding my surgery, so "your mileage may vary." Also, it was 3 years ago and my recollections have faded quite a bit since then.

When I had mine done (January 2020), I stayed at the Bentley Hotel. It's a block and a half from Dr. Eid's office and about 6 blocks from MEETH. I walked to my surgery from the hotel.
The logistics of NYC and associated costs are daunting, but in my opinion you will not find a more competent or more compassionate physician than Dr. Eid.
And yeah, this thread should be on the "Implants" board.
Good luck.

Re: Dr. Eid's Patients
I stayed at an airbnb in the Bronx, it was the perfect balance between comfort and price. It was about 40 mins but tbh after surgery you won't be feeling much pain until the next day anyway.

Re: Dr. Eid's Patients
Hi
I am both a New Yorker (Live outside the city and commute in everyday) and Dr Eid did my surgery. The place across the street is convenient but I agree way expensive and no restaurant for room service. I stayed at the Westin on 42nd Street. Surgery was on a Friday at 5:30AM check in so I stayed over starting on Thursday and checked out Monday morning and went to Eid's office to have the catheter taken out. I suggest finding a hotel that has ADA compliant rooms for maneuverability. travel by taxi there and then Uber back to the hotel post op. I ordered the large SUV for ease of getting in and out and the cost wasn't ridicules but agree your pretty drugged up, so a sedan does work. Its Manhattan, it's not large so anywhere is not that far away (well there is Staten Island ugh) so there are tons of hotels at all price points, and I agree an Airbnb is also a way to go. Food, medicine and pharmacy supplies can be delivered. With food delivery, room service isn't a priority when picking a hotel, I just wanted it hot and easy to get. The city is 24/7 and with the internet nothing is far away. i suggest staying on the upper east side of Manhattan as far as traffic goes. Don't do Midtown, closes down around your ears as it is primarily office buildings. Murray Hill, below 34th street is another nice area. Further south is the East Village and China Town. PM me if you have any other questions, I am happy to help.

If you call Dr Eid's office they will email you the "Hotel List" with recommendations and prices.
I stayed at the Bentley which is easy walking distance to the office. That was a good experience and I'd stay there again.

Agree with the opinion that there is no better place than the Affinia across the street-- and I used Instacart for food and beverages which was great! BUT that was in Feb when I got a $250 rate through Trip advisor.
I have also read great things from Eid's patients about the Bentley.

75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.
