All Swelling and Bruising gone

Postby Genome » Fri Nov 26, 2010 5:58 pm

Been about 10 days and as far as I can tell, all swelling and bruising are gone. Right nut still kinda sore from foreign objects being in scrotum with it. Still keeping my penis pointed up in its "semi state." Almost 5 more weeks of this. Spike is being held up by compression workout underwear.......$10 at Walmart. Penis is a good deal smaller. But maybe that will change some when in a month I get to inflate it to its maximum. Here are a coulpe of pictures from today.

Looking good, man! Purple and swelling in "turkey neck" have gone down.

Two Week Update

Postby Genome » Thu Dec 02, 2010 2:40 pm

Yesterday I drove up to Nashville to Vandy to meet with Todd Doran for my 2-week standard checkup. It was a very brief visit and I was told I was doing welll....typical for 2 weeks out. I was told not to get in a hot tub, not to lift more than 10 pounds and to come back in a month. Mr Doran deflated Spike and then pumped him back up to a semi......a looser, less turgid flaccid. It is actually more comfortable. He said it will not be too long before i have no pain or discomfort of any type. He said I would be larger when fullu inflated.....but nothing more about my final size. My discomfort levels have drastically declined these days. Discomfort does arise from standing...but sitting or lying quickly relieves the discomfort.

I found that waring a good support underware like Jockey Pouch Briefs helped a lot while up or standing the first few weeks. I would also ware a jock strap if I was going to be up for a long period of time.

That is what helped me.

Problem has arisen.

Postby Genome » Sat Dec 04, 2010 8:55 pm

Up til now all my reports have been positive. But i think it is important that i report both the positive and the negative. :( Following my 2-week checkup a fluid filled sack...or capsule formed in my scrotum (ballsack) It is below my testicle and is bigger than my testicle. I called Vandy today and spoke to the physician on call. He said that since it did not hurt and since i had no fever, it was probably a temporary capsule that formed from bruising when my release valve was squeezed buring my checkup. Said that it would gradually diminish and was nothing to be concerned about unless it became adhered to my pump.

Well...after talking to him, it feels to me as though the release valve is either attached to the capsule or tangled in my spermatic cords. Dang it! Dang it! So Monday I will call Vandy and do my best to talk with Milam about it. Dang....i hope i dont have to have surgery on my scrotum.

Just trying to present all sides of this journey. Pray this works itself out.

After checking this morning, I am pleased to report that the testicular capsules seems to continue to shrink. I am hoping that after sufficient shrinkage i will find that the pump release-valve is free.

Genome, I have been following yout implant story with the special interest of someone waiting for their turn, 1/11/11 in my case. I am glad to hear the alarm bells are mostly off with the capsule. I am trying to understand more about what happened. In looking at your pictures from Nov 26 where you are standing where you testicals are hanging, which is the pump and which is testicle, is the pump the upper lump or the lower one?
So, you think some "damage" was done during the dr. visit when he pumped it, I say damage meaning some tissue trauma where fluid leaked, sorta like a hematoma?
I will have two pumps as I am getting the AUS as well and the thought of all that in my scrotum has my attention. What happens when it is cold and your scrotum is shrunk up, is the pump still accessabile? or does that up up too?
Anyway, glad to hear things are getting back on track with your recovery. Do you have to pull the pump down occasionally during the healing process so that it's position and orentation is proper?
