I need a Dr.

Postby Jato1229 » Mon Nov 23, 2020 12:55 pm

So after about 2 years of trying injections and graft surgery for my very bad Peyronies (90degree upward) and ED I decided to call Dr Kramer few months ago only to find he no longer works at that office. I finally got his new email address which I used about 6 times with 1 response. Months ago he told me 2-3 weeks before he will open. I haven’t heard anything. If ANYONE knows more info On his practice opening PLEASE contact me. If he doesn’t work out PLEASE let me know the top IMPLANT surgeon. I live in Hamilton NJ. Willing to travel.

I can only reply based on my own lousy experience.

1. DON'T rush finding a surgeon now! (I did, and it has destroyed me.) You're in NJ, so I won't warn you about my specific 'dr.' (Edit: I just saw that you're willing to travel. My dr is in Las Vegas. See my post about my bad implant on 30 Jun for his name. DON'T go to him!!!!)

2. Talk to as many GREAT Dr.s as you can. Take your time; you'll have to live with the results for years!

3. Look at the Physician Finder at the top of FrankTalk. (I don't know anything about how the list is made. I've asked before, but nobody with any actual knowledge about it replied.)

4. Ask others with the best experiences who their Dr.s were.

Good luck.

1. Use the physician finder at the top of this website.
2. Use the physician referral lists that can be found on the Coloplast and AMS websites.
3. Ask your GP for a referral.
4. Ask your local urologist for a referall to an implant specialist.
5. Get a recommendation from somome you know who has an implant.
6. Search this site using the keyword "surgeon". Read the resulting posts, and start looking for patterns.
7. Research implant surgeons on HealthGrades and other similar websites.

I can personally recommend Dr. Laurence Levine at Rush University in Chicago. He did my implant, and I am very satisfied. But you need to do your own homework ... there are plenty of excellent implant surgeons in most areas of the country.

I was just implanted for the fourth time. The first three were performed by the same doctor. The last implant a removal & replacement was done by Dr Hakky is in Atlanta, GA.(Buckhead) He has been wonderful!!! He’s staff and the hospital he uses have all been great!!! Dr Hakky is a younger guy but does a lot of implants and he is a very unique doctor. He speaks in terms that your friend would use so there is no miscommunications. You know exactly what he’s saying. He returns emails and you will have his personal cellphone number. (He answers and texts). My first contact with him was via an email on a Saturday and he then followed up that email the next day (Sunday) and a member of his staff reached out Monday morning. I am so thankful I found him and have no reason or desire to go backwards or look for anyone else. Just my thoughts. Wish you the best in what ever decision you make.Atlanta cosmetic urology.
Revision 2/13/24 Dr Tariq Hakky, Atlanta (Great Doctor) Titan 24XL no Rte’s. I’m 62 married. I have had numerous revisions due to product and body failures. Always had a Titan ipp.

Great total list! (Is this a list from FrankTalk somewhere? It should be easily accessible for reference.)

Referring specifically to the AMS and Coloplast site lists you mentioned:

1. Can you tell me how to get to the AMS physician referral lists? (I've tried searching their site using variations of the phrasing, Google search, etc.)

2. Also, does anyone know if there is a hyperlink to those AMS and Coloplast referral lists on this board?

Thanks.

Skier123's advice is solid. For what it's worth, I've known Levine for about 10 years and he did my implant Nov 2019. He's an underrated sleeper. Absolute pro. Has done thousands of IPPs. Quiet guy. Humble. Not a self-promoter, really. Just a top notch technician with the knife in his hands and quietly goes about giving guys really outstanding dicks. The guy has transformed my sex life and state of mind.

PM me anytime, happy to talk.
